“Good but would be very good if I did not involve having to read individual insurers conditions to discover whether 85 year old drivers or additional drivers are covered for excess insurance.”

Hi John Thanks so much for raising this so we can explain the position. We did suspend collection of reviews for a period as the number of policies being sold dropped dramatically over the Covid period. We have started asking for them again, but the percentage of users who reply to our requests is small - and therefore it will take time to rebuild a good history. There are however reviews from this year being shown for the companies who sell the higher volumes of policies. We see no evidence though that the review results being seen are any different than in the past - and the fact that 99% of users ignore our request suggests that 99% of users did not have an issue! Hope that at least explains the situation - and hopefully when we ask you for your thoughts you will be good enough to let us know your rating of the insurance company used! We normally request a review about two months after the policy has been used to allow time for any claims to have been processed and users to score that element of the policy.
