I pay a jacket 178€ delivery costs included, I return for a refund, it only refunds me 130€, never order on this site if you are in France

No hagan caso de la calculadora de gastos aduaneros que te facilitan en su página web. Por una chaqueta barbour pagada 218 Euros, he pagado 120€ de despacho aduanero cuando te indican en su página web que vas a pagar sólo entre 50 y 60€. Para colmo, les contactas informando de la incidencia y se desmarcan diciendo que no son responsables del despacho aduanero.

The customs fee can vary and is not always easy to predict accurately. Michael Stewart Menswear Ltd has no control over these charges, and we can’t tell you exactly what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Terrible experience, they don't know international trade or they still think they are in the European Union. I made a return with an exchange, they just had to issue a zero invoice since it was an exchange. Instead I found myself paying customs charges twice

Hello Matteo, Thank you for your review and reaching out. This order was made on Saturday 26th October. We do not ship over weekends and this item was processed on Monday 28th and dispatched the Tuesday 29th. The tracking shows the Item in your country ready for delivery as of today. the Total time from order to date has been 6 working days and total time in transit has been 4 working days which is well within our SLA for delivery time-frames. The Total days including non-processing days such as weekends has been 9 days, not 15. I hope this helps provide some clarification. Disappointly, loafers I ordered turned to be out of stock, which left me stranded with little no time to find an alternative for my holiday. I recieved a refund.

Ordered a pair of shorts and paid for "express delivery". After a week I had not received the item, emailed the store and no response. Emailed the following day and got a reply stating that they were going to refund my money. There was no communication until I contacted them. Would not recommend, they need to learn how to deal with customers, would give them zero stars if I could, but can only give 1 star.

Hello Phil Thank you for your feedback. We have checked our system and can confirm the team has responded to all of your emails, these may have gone into your spam folder. The team also initially emailed on the 25th to let you know the item was out of stock and inquired if you would like an exchange, but received no response. Havent yet received parcel..bit irritated as I had a message from someone saying they were delivering and I would be paying delivery? Dont know what's happening right now..I am not prepared to pay £90 as requested just now by DHL..!!!! I have asked them to return the parcel to sender and I would like a full refund of what I paid to your company without any delay. Thankyou Rachael Adamson

Hello Rachel Thank you for your review. The courier will contact you before delivery for VAT and customs fees, this is standard procedure with international orders. As customs and VAT vary from country to country, we are unable to charge the customer directly, hence why we do not charge VAT at checkout, this needs to be paid at your country's rate before delivery. I have bought from France. Shipping ok, pretty fast BUT tax add on has not been explained to me before purchasing. Total price has increased from 50%. I would never have bought if I knew about the tax cost. So my recommendation: DO NOT BUY from EUROPE and thanks Brexit.

Took my money and told me the product was posted. Even gave me a tracking number. It then took eight days to tell me that they didn't actually have it in stock. Not the right way to treat a customer.

Hi Emily, Your return was received without any returns form to instruct our returns department on how to process the order (refund, exchange etc.) A member of our team had tried to contact you to resolve this but had no response from yourself, hence no action taken on the return. I am sorry to provide a poor review but feel I have no choice. I ordered an item from Michael Stewart menswear over a week ago and it has yet to be delivered. As such I am bemused to receive a request to review my purchase and experience when I have yet to receive my order.
