Chose this as a retirement gift for a Pools fan. It hasn't been given yet so can't speak about it's quality. Delivery however was spot on and quick. Rather pricey for a jigsaw though.

I placed this order on Feb 7 and was pleased to receive a notice that it was delivered on Feb 14. When I went to the secure package locker in my building to retrieve my order, I found only an open and empty box. The order was shipped in a triangular box that was not taped at the ends, and clearly the box popped open at some point in transit and the item fell out. Why UPS delivered an empty, open box to me is beyond my comprehension, but I reached out to Media Storehouse immediately to try and resolve the issue. I emailed them on Feb 14. On Feb 15, I received a response asking for photos of the open and empty box, inside and out, with an assurance that once I sent them, a replacement would be “swiftly” arranged. I sent those photos the same day, Feb 15. I followed up by email on Feb 17, as I hadn’t heard anything about my replacement and received no response. On Feb 19 I called and left a voicemail. On Feb 20, I received an email in response to my call telling me an “investigation” was underway and they would update me—no timeline was given for either the update or the replacement. There was also no explanation of what was meant by an “investigation”. At this point I’ve paid for an item, I haven’t received it, and the service I’ve received from the company has been terrible.

Font is too small. Quality could be better. There is room on the page to make the image bigger and better. Not happy. I'm going to try scanning it myself and enlarging.

The print was not as described. I requested a 16 x 12 print. I received a 16 x 11 print on 16 x 12 paper. The paper was damaged on the edges. When I complained, I received a standard response making patronising excuses about how the company uses imagery software, with no acceptance of the error. A terrible service which I won’t be using again.

We have carefully reviewed the comments you provided directly to us, which noted that while the paper size was 16 × 12 inches, the visible image area measured approximately 16 × 11 inches, causing inconvenience when framing. In that correspondence, there was no mention of any damage to the paper edges. To clarify, all of our prints are produced to the exact paper dimensions ordered. As outlined on our website at the time of purchase, customers can choose between two layout options: Print the Entire Image, which preserves the full photograph and may result in borders depending on the original image proportions, or Zoom and Crop, which fills the entire print area by cropping parts of the image. A clear preview of the selected option is shown when the product is chosen and again in the shopping cart before checkout, with the opportunity to adjust cropping where applicable. Our aim is always to provide clear descriptions, images, and previews so customers can make fully informed decisions before completing a purchase and we’re sorry to hear that the final result did not meet your expectations but do however hope we have again clarified why the print was manufactured precisely according to the specifications and layout option selected at checkout.

I was delighted to discover two rare historical images to purchase in the catalogue. Service was exremely fast. I opted for cheapest version, the greeting card, which suited my purpose excellently, and would like to suggest a further option - the print on plain white card of 6x4, with the option of no cropping but with any necessary border being variable in width to allow for this. The card would then fit into standard albums. My only (small) criticism of the black and white prints is that they were a trifle too dark. Was lightening up an option? I didn't notice this.

I was thrilled to see an offering for a puzzle with an image of the ship my mother-in-law came over on from Italy! Unfortunately, the puzzle pieces were not cut all the way through which left several pieces damaged. The bank card I used to purchase the puzzle was also shut down because the charge was ran through a foreign country. And subsequently, my paypal account was disabled. It felt like such a nice, thoughtful gift for my husband for Christmas but has turned into quite a disappointment and definitely a hassle with my banking. I would not purchase from this company again.

Regarding the puzzle, we agree that pieces not being fully cut is not acceptable. That said, based on the photos provided, the pieces appear to be held by very small tabs and can be easily separated. If any pieces were damaged during this process, this would be treated as a production fault and we would of course arrange a replacement or refund. As this review was posted anonymously, we kindly ask that you contact us directly if further assistance is required. As for the payment issue, we should clarify that we do not process or store card details ourselves. All payments are handled securely via PayPal or Stripe. As our company is UK-based, some international banks may flag transactions automatically, even when they are completely legitimate. We understand how frustrating this can be, but this is controlled by the card issuer rather than by us. We take pride in producing high-quality, historically meaningful puzzles, and we truly hope to resolve this for you.

I purchased a framed picture for my Dad's 80th birthday,The service was really good and the way product had been packaged to avoid damage was really impressive,I would definitely use Media Storehouse again in the future.
