“Once I started wearing your carefully crafted dresses with all their glorious tailoring, other makes don’t match up. The dress bar has been set so high when I shop now. It’s all in the detail.”

“I don’t enjoy shopping at the Marylebone store. The service is perfunctory at best, I prefer shopping on line. I love the dresses so much and have purchased several. The blouses and shirts generally lack the quality and I prefer the fabrics at Zadig. I can’t wear the trousers as they are far too long - I’m 5” 7 - certain dress styles you should drop a size, sadly Me & Em rarely recommend you do so.”

“Thank you for allowing return of sale items. You cannot go wrong with these garments, ( although I have only purchased dresses) measure yourself and off you go, I think its the weight, cut and quality of the garment that separates ME+EM from the rest. Yes the price is up there, however I believe worth the investment, you won't get a better out there.”

“Sadly I think that Me & Em is beginning to lose its way. I really don’t love the endless super wide trousers that seem to now be the ‘signature’ look and the fabrics are increasingly relying on artificial fibres with the quality taking a bit of a hit. I enjoyed the fact that there used to be more of a price spread which made it a bit more affordable and I was Me & Em’s biggest fan, loved the service provided and always found something to drool over with each drop. That’s changing. Service is now a bit patchy, there are still some gems to be found but it just doesn’t hit the spot anymore. The price hikes certainly don’t help either.”

“I am 89 yrs old and have an aversion to "old ladies" fashion. There are always some pieces in your catalogue that I can wear without trying to look like my daughter. I love the quality, the uniqueness. My only concern is when I return an item for exchange, it takes a bit long to get credit.”

“The quality and cut of the clothes in the past have been great. More recently the clothes have been delivered badly and the cut a less favourably fit. I’m missing some of the classic cuts you had done previously”

“Excellent choice and high quality fabric, stitching and design that justifies their prices. I have pieces from 10 years ago that I still wear. Partnering with Harper Concierge when you live within Greater London means that I can try on pieces in my own home and only pay £15 plus whatever I keep. Me+Em is always my first choice for clothing. My wardrobe is full of their designs. And their website is great although I do wish for reviews to gauge sizing. And I’ve never had a problem with returns or refunds. They have an excellent customer service team. Love them.”

“The clothes are beautiful and stylish, as well as high-quality, but I am disappointed in the service. To this day, I have not received one product out of three. I wrote a claim, but there was no response to the first letter. I wrote a second claim, reacted, but did not receive the product until 25 days have passed since the order.”

I can confirm that a reply to your email regarding your pre-purchase item has since been sent to you on two occasions, explaining that this product has an estimated dispatch date of the 5th of April. I have recently bought the travel trouser for which I’m using on a flight soon but know they’ll be good for city touring and dinner too. I especially love their embroidery anglaise which I have already added to my spring wardrobe. I recently returned a size too big and the refund process was seamless and quick. “Im from Europe and buying from ME+EM is such an easy experience. Im 5'10" and delighted that I can buy a classic trousers that doesn't look like a shorts on me. I believe they do their best however the prices for European customers are a bit too crazy sometimes. If they have a warehouse in Europe (as many of the clothing is made in Europe anyway) it would be very helpful and I would definitely buy more :)”
