“Clothing design and quality is great but it is very pricy in comparison to competitors. Don’t like the $15 shipping cost. Don’t like that I have to pay for some garments to be returned. Also, the tags on clothing are harsh and irritate my skin.”

“I am a regular customer of ME+EM and I love the products. High quality for a fair price with new styles being regularly released.”

“I bought pants and a jacket because they were a suit. The fabric is a beautiful colour and lovely quality. The fit is a bit snug and could certainly be a little more generous. After making the purchases I received an email telling me that the pants were not available (which means the website was incorrect) and I received a refund but I was left with half a suit. I engaged in an email conversation about my situation and asked to be informed when the pants became available again but my request was ignored. Three months after my original purchase the pants were advertised again. There is a lot of opportunity in my experience for improved customer service.”

“Love the colour combinations, style and cut of the clothes. I order online and find the sizing very consistent which means I never have to return items due to fit. The online shopping is very easy to use and inspiring, making it far too easy to buy loads of fabulous outfits! The addition of a “wish list” function would ideal.”

“I used to be Me and Em's No. 1 fan....for a long time. But not any more. I too, feel they are losing their way. I buy far less than I used to. I am less excited by each new collection. I find most of the maxi dresses are somewhere between midi and maxi and a lot of the trousers just don't have the hems that they used to in order to be able to lengthen them. I have also been hugely put off by the attitude of some of their staff. Senior staff in particular. And I have vowed I will never step inside the Elizabeth Street branch again. It's a much happier experience to shop online. I still have huge admiration for the company in terms of the quality and style. As someone who has a massive Me and Em wardrobe, I now find myself looking elsewhere and I can't quite put my finger on why.”

“Have been purchasing from ME+EM for years. Original clothes were of amazing quality, particularly the knitwear. Am a slim 5'8 and the trousers have gone crazy wide and long, so not really an option, but still good quality and I like the basic vests introduced last year. Only ever buy online as the high street shops (particularly Marylebone High Street) frosty at best. Would say the styling as gone off a bit recently. Used to be more interesting.”

“Unbelievably beautiful, flattering clothing and it's all incredible quality. I bought three pairs of trousers and so far have had them a month but imagine they will last many years. The packaging is elegant and recyclable and dispatch/delivery was prompt. The only thing I would love to see is petite sizing - I'm 5'3 and had to shorten the trousers considerably. It would be great to have options for petite/tall so that there isn't an additional cost to get the fit right.”
