"Highest Prices Guaranteed"...LIE This was my 4th attempt to use Mazuma, so its probably my own fault. They do offer the highest price for your phone online, every single time. But what they also do every single time, is find/make a fault with your device. This time I specifically read through the criteria very carefully, my phone was in excellent condition, just over a year old, with no scratches. Its been in a case with a screen protector the whole time. I boxed it up in its Apple Box to send off. My original offer was £575, but due to the delay of my new phone arriving, I missed the deadline. My own fault, so I re-submitted to Mazuma 2 weeks later. Apparently my price had now dropped to £510. Seems steep but okay. I went ahead. Once they opened the box, miraculously on my screen that had been in excellent condition (photos to prove it), now had more than 3 scratches on it???? Revised price - £390. That's nearly a £200 drop in just over 2 weeks. I phones up immediately, concerned that my pristine, well looked after phone was now damaged, but unfortunately I was rushed off the phone by Jevon, who asked me to email my photos to him for proof. I did not do this, I asked them to send me photos of my handset. Apparently this could take up to a week? So I asked for my phone back. But wait, I get a brand new revised offer. A WHOLE £10. Now offering me a very insulting £400 for my handset worth £575 to them 2 weeks ago. I will say this, Mazuma Mobile do not ever intend to pay the price they quote you, so save yourself 2-3 weeks of time, and save yourself from having your excellent phone scratched and mishandled just so they can knock you on price, and use any other company.

Offered £70 for my iPhone agreed the sale - sent it to them in the envelope they provided. Had to chase them up as no response and they advised incorrect order number that they provided. Phone is in good condition as always been in case and they dropped the offer from £70 down to £20 said 20% battery life!! I screenshot the phone before I sent it and 80% battery life! Not great service and will NOT recommend!!

Mazuma dropped my phone price by £55 saying i had scratches on my phone when i requested proof they sent pictures of a phone that is not mine. I have comparison phones. Now awaiting them to either pay me full money or send my phone back in original condition.

I sold my phone with Mazuma as I have used them 4 or times before to sell my old tech and have been excellent and as far as I remember always got what I was quoted and paid promptly This time I sold my phone to them for £515 and I received an email that there was 5 or more scratches or chips on the housing which is absolutely ludicrous and offered me a revised price of £425, which was totally ludicrous as my phone was in a case from the day I took it out of the box either screen protector so there is no way that the phone was in the condition they said, they did re-assess the phone and offered me £460 which I accepted as I am just going into hospital and don't need this stress. I have seen other comments saying the same and they are just ripping people off totally unacceptable. Why guarantee a price for 14 days is breaking your contract.. Apple offered me £465 to trade in and send to them after delivery of my new phone and I shall never use Mazuma again I will trade in with Apple and not be ripped off by a load of shisters. I would suggest avoid this company like the plague and trade in with Apple and as long as you are honest about the condition they always pay what they agree as a trade in. Very disappointed - AVOID AT ALL COSTS ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS!!

Offered £170 then dropped to £40 saying not uk model, considering i got on 02 contract that's B/S according to 02 shop. Worst is they haven't returned my phone in over a week , despite saying it's posted nothing from them I smell a rat , and that rat is mazuma, I will be contacting trading standards .

Had the same experience as most are writing here. matched the 'excellent' criteria which allowed for a few minor scratches and my phone only had one or 2 very small and only noticeable if you look in the light. quoted 605 for Iphone 15 pro max. got an email when they received it dropping it to 190. 415 quid less than original and this i am sure is even less than what an original offer for 'good' condition would have been. i told them it wont cost 300 quid plus to replace a screen they said it could because of labor and they wont be using official apple part so that's why the drop. well, your the ones deciding it needs fixing, not my problem. also not my problem your using cheap replacement parts due to even more greed. avoid like the plague i say. will be selling on Vinted where they seem to go for a lot more.

Deliberate Undervaluing and Obstructive Tactics – Avoid for High-Value Devices In July 2025 I sent my iPhone 15 Pro to Mazuma Mobile after receiving an initial quote of £530 based on their “Excellent” condition criteria. The phone was in near-pristine condition, with no visible scratches — confirmed by timestamped, high-resolution photos I took prior to posting. Rather than use their pre-paid label (which only covers £100 of insurance), I paid for next-day insured delivery myself to ensure the device was properly protected. Once received, Mazuma reduced the offer to £480, claiming there were “light scratches visible under LED lighting.” No mention of this being transit damage — until I challenged the downgrade. Only then did they try to shift the narrative and suggest Royal Mail might be responsible, despite admitting the packaging was undamaged. They ignored the photo evidence I provided and failed to give clear answers when I asked for the formal 14-day deadline to accept/reject the offer. In my view, this was a deliberate tactic to let the window expire and push through the lower payment without consent. Their conduct shows either incompetence or a deliberate strategy to devalue high-quality devices, hoping customers won’t fight back. I had to send a Letter Before Action to get a proper response and still received no response. If you’re trading in a high-value phone, be very cautious with Mazuma. Photograph everything, don’t use their postage label if it doesn’t insure your device’s value, and be prepared for a fight if they try to reduce your payout. I will not use them again.

I sent my phone as I needed the money even tho it was much less than trade in price in my new phone I needed the cash as I’m a single father , they told me my device was lost but would do everything in there power to get my money for my stolen device as they advertise its a safe reliable service with insurance , I called to ask what’s going on today I was talked down to and talked over when I pleaded for her not to keep doing this she started to lie and say I’d been shouting at her to which I promise I never even raised my voice I then got an instant email saying Royal Mail were not going to pay out and nothing they will/can do , disgusting company that obviously employs liers

Avoid this company. Using their metrics I listed iPhone 13 Pro as good, phone always in a wallet case, minor scratches on screen, phone and battery in excellent condition for age. No point in grading it as excellent as they will knock you down. Even graded and good and falling within all their parameters you get a derisory offer of less than 50% of their original valuation. Avoid and save your sanity.

Avoid like the plague. I sent my Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 to Mazuma Mobile in pristine condition and was offered £525. I had the sense to take photos of the phone, which had no scratches as it was an unused present still in its box), as well as the protective wrapping. Like clockwork Mazuma reduced the price to £150 stating there were multiple scratches on the screen. I rejected the offer and the phone is on its way back to me. My advice avoid Mazuma Mobile like the plague.

Misleading and a Waste of Time Their website clearly states that scratches—even dents—are acceptable under the Good condition category for Apple Watches. However, after submitting my device, I was told that scratches actually classify it as Faulty, resulting in a significantly lower offer. This directly contradicts the information on their product page, which is incredibly misleading. I wouldn't recommend using their service unless they update their descriptions to reflect their actual assessment criteria.

Exploited and Misled. I sent Mazuma my Google Pixel 9 Pro in mint, flawless condition—always kept in a case with a screen protector. Before posting it, I took clear photos and even emailed them in advance as proof. I packed the phone carefully, doing everything right. But the moment they received it, they claimed it had "scratches" and dropped their offer by £60. The photos they sent didn’t match mine at all—the damage shown simply wasn’t there before. I tried to explain this, but they wouldn’t listen. What’s worse is that I’d told them I needed the funds urgently—I’d sent several emails. It felt like they used that against me. As if they knew I’d feel pressured to accept anything rather than go through the hassle of a return, especially when they said my only options were to *take the reduced price* or *receive the phone back—now damaged*. It’s hard not to feel exploited. I trusted Mazuma to handle this fairly and they let me down. I can’t recommend them to anyone.

Waste of time! I got quoted £310 for my iphone 13 pro 256gb.. not even a scratch on it.. but they tried to reduce price to £120! Thats £190 less than the quote. All the information given was correct .. even if your battery health is 1% below 80% apparently it is considered faulty. I asked for return. Will not recommend to ANYONE. I believe the idea is to get people to cave in because they cannot be bothered to deal with it to get the devices way under market price. I would rather use cex
