just sent my samsung S8 to Mazuma and they claim there is a crack on the screen, my phone was sent in great condition with no cracks at all, been covred with a case since new they downgraded the valuation to £30 from £115 needless to say i rejected it and phoned them and they claim that is there final decision. I will be interested to see what condition my phone is returned to me in, wish i had read these reviews before sending.

Alleged screen burn o. S7 edge, phone worked great and is mint condition. Scan artists. Offer dropped from £95 to £5 once phone received, obviously hoping the offer would be received. Con all the way. Always do what I done and record the IMEI and take pics before the device is sent so you can check it when they return it. At least dick turpin wore a mask.

Mazuma are scumbags and thieves. I sent them a superb Pixel 3a complete in box with charger and instructions. They refused to buy and returned it. When I open box I find they have stolen the charger and instructions and just put a leaflet from an Iphone inside! Photo shows Iphone leaflet in teh package! Scumbags. Usual trick of big advert and promises as a front for a shabby business. Sell your phone elsewhere that this shabby business.

Just had my iphone downgraded from 65 to 25 due to white marks on screen. Phone was in perfect condition always in a case with a screen protector on. Dont use this company seem to be con artists trying to reduce what they pay at any attempt

Scammers! They offer nice enticing prices for your phone then devalue it with something that is virtually invisible. AVOID like the plague! A**holes!! My iPhone apparently had a yellow mark on the screen when the display is displaying pure white. You never see the screen displaying pure white except when the iOS has just been installed, and even then, you can't see it. WTF???

Apparently my phone had very minor screen burn and this devalues it by £95. They offered£25 instead of £120 for a samsung S8. Strange that 2 other phone places that I took it too after it was returned offered £130 and £150 and said they couldn't see any screen burn

Sent in a phone which they re-graded as “dead” because the home button didn’t work, yet nothing in terms and conditions (including their detailed grading terms) mentioned this. I believe they only did it to value the phone less. It makes their “price promise” almost false advertising!

Scam artists. Tried to claim my Pixel 2 XL had screen burn. Changing my quote from £120 to £0. Needless to say I rejected that offer. Sent it to EE recycling who gave me £118, oh yeah no screen burn. Scam.

Same MO I’m afraid, an eight month old XS sent in, pre-declared with the damage, to then receive a counter offer of £50, from the original £285, avoid the agro. Let’s see how long it takes for the ya dawg to come back!

I wrote a negative review on here about Mazuma mobile and gave them 2 stars but I want to revert my rating and give them a 1 star because I took my Samsung S7 to Carphonewarehouse today and they've done a thorough technical check and they found no issue at all! I got the full offer of £70! I think Mazuma phones want brand new phones! I don't recommend them at all.

If it were possible to give this company a minus star rating I would as they are the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. Having been given an initial quote of £120 for my Samsung Galaxy S8, which has been in a case with a screen protector from day 1 and was in perfect working order I had the figure reduced to £25 as it supposedly had screen burn. This would appear to be their go-to excuse for reducing if they cannot find fault with the case etc. From reading all the other reviews on here it would seem I am not the only one by a long shot who has had this experience. I informed them immediately that their insulting offer was rejected and to return the phone. After hearing nothing more for two days I emailed and asked what was happening and received a response on the 8th November 2019 from Marianne, some Social Media Executive, informing me that the phone would be back with me within 3 to 5 working days. Having heard nothing more and with no sign of my phone I called them direct and asked for the carrier and a tracking number, which I was eventually given and found out that the phone hadn't even been posted off to me until 13th but was due to be delivered back on the 15th November, 10 days after I initially asked for it back. I now await to see what state it comes back in as when I sent it I had put it in the original box to protect it, so if there is any damage I will be back to them for recompense, as I also took photographic evidence of the state of the phone prior to my sending it to them. The simple lesson to be learnt is for this Company to be avoided at all costs as they are a set of scammers and liars.

So Mazuma received my iPhone 7 Plus on the 25th October. They amended the offer due to a “faulty screen” which I’m not fussed about now. Like everyone else on here I know it isn’t as the screen is brand new, I’ll just sell it elsewhere. Problem is they STILL haven’t sent me my phone back well over 2 weeks later. I’m not being updated on anything and seems to me like they’ve lost my phone. I’ve sent them yet another email today but not sure where to go after here. I just want my phone back now, this is ridiculous.

Liars. Claimed my phone needed a new LCD screen as it had a yellow mark on it. I have only just stopped using it because Apple do not support it anymore. It had no yellow marks a couple of weeks ago. Currently waiting for its return. Oh and the reject link in their emails does not work, so I have had to email them. Waste of time in my opinion.

Avoid - I sent my iphone7s which was in perfect condition, had always been in a case with a screen saver, I even sent it in its original box, which is very sturdy, and I wrapped the box in bubblefilm before putting it in a mailing bag. You could have dropped a pallet on it. They emailed me to say it had a cracked screen and could only offer £60. I emailed and told them it didn't have a cracked screen, and couldn't have been damaged in transit either it was so well wrapped. They emailed back saying how expert their analysts were and they would send photographs, then they emailed to say it didn't have a cracked screen but it had a chip in the top right corner and they would send photographs, then they emailed to say the chip could not be seen with the naked eye so couldn't send photographs. I told them to return it when it came back I took it to CEX and they offered me £175.

I recently sent an Apple iPhone 6 32GB EE in perfect condition. They had offered me £50 but I received an email to say there was a problem and it was "classed as Dead - Bent chassis" so they revised their offer to £5 instead. The phone had always had a cover on, and had never been dropped so I've no idea what they are talking about. I've requested they return the phone and I'll try and recycle it elsewhere.

WARNING: Mazuma violates its own price promise by revising down offers made based on accurate descriptions of the phones they receive. When I submitted my phone, I described it as chipped and was quoted £280. When they tested my phone they provided an updated value of £40 on the basis the phone was chipped. Their website states that "Provided your device is received as described, you'll receive the full value". This is patently false.

Same issue as everyone else here, I would avoid like the plague. They quoted: “Apple iPhone X 64GB Unlocked classed as Dead - Cracked/Chipped rear fixed glass.”. I have uploaded a photo of it just to prove how ridiculous the comment is. They originally offered £370, now offering £50 which is pretty much theft for an almost perfect condition iPhone.

I wish I had read the reviews first. It looks like I have had the same bad experience as many others with Mazuma. I sent my phone which is in near perfect condition. They had offered £60, but this was reduced to £20 because there was a very slight yellow mark on the lcd screen that can only be seen by a professional when the screen is pure white. So the phone has to be 100% mint condition or they will not pay the full price they initially offer and give you some very poor offer. Now I want my phone back so I can sell it at a high street store who have offered me more than £60 but Mazuma say it won’t be return for 3-5 working days. I personally feel it us a con because my phone is near perfect and I used it for a year and never noticed this supposed yellow mark on the lcd. They will find any tiny problem to give you a poor price. Mazuma if you are reading this SEND ME MY PHONE BACK, so I can sell it on high street and get an honest price.
