Fuming!!! Sent a pristine iPhone 8 to them packaged in original box, wrapped in bubble wrap, in a plastic envelope. They claim the screen is cracked! WHAT? Now taken £200 off price or I can have Bach a cracked iPhone, REALLY??

Just to add that my previous post below should read one star and not four! Extremely poor service from start to finish from this bunch of thieves

I have used Mazuma on many occasions over the years and never had any issues or complaints. But sadly that is not the case anymore. I've sent the phone with Special Delivery and it was received yesterday morning at 08.55 for which I had a confirmation of Mazuma via email. But nothing since then. I've emailed CS twice and I get the same response on both occasions, that because of high number over the weekend they are experiencing a delay. Although that might well be the case, don't advertise on your site or other places that Payment is guaranteed on same day Phone has been received. An email informing us straight away of a delay would have been decent thing to do. Mazuma has always been easy and quick, taking the hassle away from posting it privately to sell, sending it off etc, but at this rate that would've been the better choice in hindsight. And reading a lot of reviews that people are getting offered less because their phone suddenly "is more damaged or not as described" is not filling me with confidence and making me think that money is everything and customers come last. I know that my high end phone I sent is in immaculate condition with no damage and has been filmed on video, from packing and wrapping it all the way to being handed off to Royal Mail. As a long-term customer I'm very disappointed in their service and wonder what happened to them. At this rate, they will loose a lot of customers. Depending on how quick and correctly they solve this, I will be one of them

Sent two perfect condition iphone 6s & 6 offered £115. Waited 3 days to be told both screens are faulty and then offered £35. Have asked for phones to be returned as no faults with them at all. Do not wait your time with this company!

Same day payment? Forget it - brand new iPhone and it has been three days and it hasn’t been processed yet. There is no promise or guarantee, they have an excuse for everything. Avoid these thieves at all costs!!!!

Same as people below. Offered £150 online for an iPhone 7plus, when they got the handset they claim that there are deep scratches on the screen and the offer was reduced to £55. I only took the screen protector off of the handset the day that I sent it to them so I know that this is not the case. This is the second time that they have done nth is to me. Avoid

Same problem as others. Sent iPhone 7 Plus off in immaculate condition and they devalued by £100 due to a hairline scratch on the screen. Told them to return the phone to me. Absolute con, recommend others not to use this company!!

Had an offer of £150 for iPhone 7plus 32gb. Only to be told the screen is cracked, when it only has a hairline scratch. So my offer is now £55. Rang up to dispute this, awaiting a phone call back. We have been misled so if this doesn't get resolved it's ombudsman or small claims for me!!!

Sent my iPhone 8 to them, it has a few marks and scratches on the edge, I explained this. Screen was in perfect order as since day one, it’s had a protector on it. They reduced the offer by £100 and stated it ‘needs a new screen replacement’ Asked them to return the phone... absolute rip off and joke of a company! DONT USE!!!

Was in the Apple Store on Regent Street buying a new phone when I inquired about a trade in with Apple directly. The gentleman serving us told me that the handset (iPhone 6S) was "in mint condition" but was only able to offer me GBP40.00 I quickly sent a request to Mazuma which came back with GBP65.00 so I politely declined Apple's slightly less, but more genuine quote and decided I would use Mazuma. Long story short, I received an email shortly after sending them my handset that the offer was no longer GBP65.00 and would now be GBP25.00 as the handset's unlocked status was "poor" (whatever that means) and that the camera had a crack! Absolute joke, the phone I repeat was in mint condition and was in a case from the moment the phone was first unpacked. I called and someone by the name of Benjamin did say that these instances do occur so he manually rejected the GBP25.00 offer so that my phone would be returned to me and said that they would seek damages against Royal Mail. I followed up a week later only to be told by Victoria that they are unable to raise a claim with Royal Mail as the packaging upon arrival was not damaged. There is no resolution or offer to help, just a very insult to injury-esque "sorry" but nothing else can be done. Honestly, it's quite clear from all these other reviews that these guys knowingly offer more attractive prices so as they ultimately end up being chosen for the trade-in but then use untrue and ghastly excuses to undercut someone, who's handset they are in the possession of. It does make me wonder if perhaps damage is caused intentionally? We should all raise a legal case and investigate whether there have been any whistle blower cases recorded as these con artists should not be allowed to continue doing business. As per everyone else here, wish I had read these reviews first!

Be VERY careful with this company!! Offered £65 for a 64Gig iPhone 6s fully functional when sent off recorded delivery. No same day payment as promised so phoned up 2 days later only to be informed that the home button was dead and that there was a revised offer of £5. I asked for the phone to be returned and sold it to a mobile phone shop in Eastbourne for £80!! As you might expect they checked the phone carefully for faults and funnily enough there were none.

Have used Mazuma in the past and was quite happy with service. However I sent an iPhone 6S in great condition and they have detected a fault in the screen. Apparently “white marks” are displaying on the screen. This is a lot of rubbish! There wasn’t a mark on the screen. Safe to say I rejected their new £20 offer (originally £60). Avoid this company at all costs!
