I am disgusted with the service I received from Maxwells DIY! I ordered a free standing kitchen cabinet that was showing as "in stock" and available for next day delivery, if I ordered within the next 3 hours, so I checked out and paid for delivery. The next day I took off work to wait in for it but when it got past 3pm I was getting concerned, so I called the sales hotline only to be told my order wasn't in stock and had not been shipped!!! This is not good customer service and the fact I had to call to find this out makes it even worse! I am disgusted with the service I received and would not recomnend buying from them, who knows what's in stock and what's not and why on earyh didn't anyone call me to let me know before I took a day off work!

I ordered a tin of Ronseal Fence Life from Maxwells on Thursday. As it was placed at 2pm and well before the 4pm deadline for next working day delivery I was expecting my order to arrive the next day. This would have been ideal for my plans to paint my garden fencing over the weekend. However, my order didn't arrive. I emailed to enquire when I would receive it and as yet have had no reply. I have also tried to ring but get no answer. Consequently my fencing remains unpainted - v To make matters worse, I have just received an email asking for my feedback and experience of shopping from Maxwells DIY. Not good is all I can say. I should have gone to Wickes as originally planned. Yes, the paint would have been £3 more. However, as I work all week my weekends are the only time I have to do diy and the fencing would have been done. Maxwells DIYThis has delayed my plans. I only hope my order arrives tomorrow. I will not be using Maxwells DIY again and will not recommend to anyone.

Very poor service, they delivered on the wrong day and left no details of who to contact. I have constantly emailed since ordering in April and have received no response from the company. Very disappointed as they haven't even refunded my money.

Maxwells DIY: 1 x 2.4m Telescopic Tree Pruner When I receive the item it was broken I contacted the seller and told him that this was broken and I've not received a replacement or refund this is very bad customer service :-(

You sent the items to the completely wrong address and postcode. So they were refused. Fortunately for you and me with the diligence of the delivery driver he managed find me and deliver them they were however perfect but your despatch dept needs to be checked Thx

I ordered two 500ml bottles of a cleaning product, one for my friend, one for me, however, I was sent a single 1000ml bottle which is actually £1.99 cheaper than two 500ml bottles. I complained immediately, still no response after 10 days, no refund, no substitute, nothing.

Awful company - had numerous issues from start to end. Ordered some paint from their colour match service which failed to turn up initially....after our enquiry email was ignored we phoned and were informed by the customer service department that they could in fact not supply the 1 litre tin which we had ordered (and paid for) and suggested they could only offer a 2.5l for an additional 19.50 on top of the 15.48 already paid. When our huge tin of paint arrived it was the totally wrong colour - the response this time was to tell us it will never be the same colour....great stuff, a colour match service with a disclaimer to say they can never really colour match. They asked for photos and assured me they would respond with suitable options the same afternoon - that never happened. I followed up by another email which was ignored again. When I phoned again they only offered a refund, no compensation for the fact that we now need to re-decorate the whole room. They even messed the refund up and initially only managed to complete the original amount of 15.48. It took a further phone call to point them in the right direction and get our full amount back. A really poor company with no understanding of basic customer service!

I ordered ten cans of wood preservative and paid for next day delivery. Nothing was said about anything being out of stock but in fact only 3 cans were delivered next day. I did get an email to say that the rest would follow a day late but nothing arrived. I emailed after 2 days to ask what was happening but got no reply only for the goods to arrive the day after. Given that I paid for next day delivery I feel this was very poor customer service indeed.

My review is 'very poor' because the garden roller I ordered, very straightforwardly', and paid for, very easily, was discontinued!!!! So a refund was made very promptly but how silly, why was it on the website, and as it was, why didn't it tell me immediately it was not available?!! Hey ho!!

I placed an order online and was advised of the delivery date. The day came and went with no delivery and no communication. Then a refund was made with no explanation given. Not very good service - would expect better communication.

I placed the order on Saturday and have still not received it!! I have tried phoning but either engaged or dead tone. Not impressed at the moment I'm afraid.

Have just written a poor review of service & the company has emailed me to write a review on the product I've received. ..NOT received it after 2 days of waiting in...fuming do not use this company!

Still waiting for order to arrive 2nd day of next day delivery.. telephone constantly busy so no customer service either... wasted a whole weekend..will never use this company again

My order has not yet been delivered. It is now Monday evening and the delivery of the slug pellets ordered 3rd May 2015 has still not been made. What has gone wrong with all the delivery promises made by your couriers on a daily basis ???? John Bowden It is now Saturday morning and the slug pellets have still not been delivered (16th May) The delivery agent tells you he cannot find my address which has been simply to find since the house was built in 1903. I am beginning to wonder if your company exists?? Please prove me wrong by at least making some sort of response! John Bowden

Order number #27894 (WEB27894) Good afternoon, I placed the above order on Wednesday 29th April and paid for next day delivery as I needed the paint as soon as possible and had been unable to source any where I live. I received an email on Thursday 30th April telling me the paint would be delivered the next working day, which would make it Friday 1st May. It is now Saturday 2nd May and I still haven't received the paint. It is now a Bank Holiday weekend and I am not expecting the paint to be delivered until Tuesday 5th May. if at all. The only problem is I go back to work on Tuesday and have not been able to complete the work I had started. If the paint is delivered, and I am not home, it will need to be left in the greenhouse, as the original instructions. Having paid for next day delivery and not receiving the paint, could the delivery fee be refunded please. Thanks for your help with this matter Lynn Turner
