I purchased a dust buster from Maxwell's DIY, as a late present for my Mum for Mothers day, I chose a standard delivery service. It's been 1 week and one day since the order was despatched to my mum and she is yet to recieve it. When I rang their office, three days ago the lady that picked my call was not very knowledgeable, the call was transferred to a senior member of staff who told me another item would be sent, and nothing has been sent. I have rang their office today again having not received the item still and no card left by any courier company, and I have been told there is an investigation going on, I have not received any correspondence from Maxwell DIY acknowledging my complaint nor telling what they intend to do about it, I have been the one chasing them to know what they intend to do.

I made a order and it nerver got here had to keep calling and nerver got any where very bad service won't be buying from them again

Ordered 2 tins paint for next day delivery. Phoned 2 days later and advised damaged in transit. Promised to send a replacement that day. 2 days later said could not find the stock in the warehouse. At no time did they try to phone me and advise of the problem. This delivery was very important for me as I was going away 4 days later and needed this paint urgently to finish a job off. Now unfinished because of this. Extremely disappointed with service and will not us again. Order cancelled

Was not happy I received a different product from the one advertised. I paid more online to get the product advertised, could have bought the one they sent for £5 pounds less up the road! When I mentioned this to them by email I received no reply whatsoever?

Ordered my paint last Sunday 21st Should have been here on Tues 23rd but still have not recieved it Its now Sunday 28th. Please get this sorted out.

I ordered some 3"x3" timber posts. I rang up to arrange delivery for Friday afternoon. After sitting in all afternoon waiting nothing had arrived by 5 so I rang back, after being put on hold for 5 minutes I was told my order had been missed off the invoice! So it would be Saturday. An afternoon wasted with no apology for the error.

Ordered a generic tin of paint on Tuesday and paid for next day delivery. Later that day I received a very curt email saying 'can't deliver tomorrow, will be Thursday'. Took another day off on Thursday and stayed in for delivery. That morning received an 'order has been dispatched email'. Tried contacting customer services as it's another day late - no reply. Eventually arrived damaged on the Friday! Never again.

After paying for a next day delivery you expect it to be delivered the next working day. My delivery turned up 3 days later. Not sure if it's the delivery company delivering late or Maxwells sending it out late. I will not be ordering anything else from Maxwells again.

- order taken for products not in stock - failed to make delivery - failed to make revised delivery - failed to provide delivery tracking information - failure to provide delivery tracking information on second request failure to re-arrange delivery despite being informed that delivery could not be accepted on the suggested day - requested refund of next day delivery payment; request completely ignored - restricted opening times and failure to address concerns - a shoddy service with no customer support - still waiting for delivery; now three days overdue - hard to imagine a worse service

Order was upgraded to a Saturday delivery, courier suffered system malfunctions over weekend. Consignment number was provided on both requests. Business is only open Monday to Friday which is stated on the website. All issues was dealt with Next Working day. Customer has been kept up to date with all issues.

I ordered an item on the 12th and on the 22nd I got told a replacement will be sent TRACKED and on the 24th I called, and both the original and replacement has been lost No calls to me regarding the lost items Rather paid more and buy it through Amazon.

First item was held at Royal Mail depot waiting for collection, customer was informed of this however did not pick up and was returned to us. Second dispatch was lost in transit, due to courier strain so close to christmas. Buyer was full refunded.

Ordered a worktop for delivery you took my money and then emailed me to say you could not deliver to my area so not very impressed

As stated in the product description, worktops can only be delivered to the local North East area. Payment was void so no funds left customer bank.

I ordered and paid for a Black & Decker HVLP P400 spray gun from Maxwells on Wednesday 2-12-15 it stated on your web site re this that it would be delivered the next working day which is Thursday 3-12-15, to day is Saturday 5-12-15 11-50am it has not been delivered yet WHY?. in your email to confirm the purchase it states you will send a email when it as been dispatched for delivery I have not received this email as of to day, so just when can I expect delivery, your company is not honouring its promises' on your internet site, not very impressed with you service to me, please email with a delivery date, thank you Mrs C Newby

I am not impressed with Maxwells. Having placed the order I tried to get an approximate time for delivery the day before it was due. They had already emailed me the day before for asking for my number even though I had already provided it! When I called to check the delivery time, The girl on the phone said she couldn't tell me then but that I would get an email by 8am the next day. I didn't receive anything at 8 the next day and couldn't contact Maxwelks to check as their customer service didn't open until 9am! So I still has no idea what time the delivery would arrive. When I called at 9am the operator put me on hold for 5 minutes! Eventually I was told that the delivery would be in the afternoon although they had no idea of a time. By which time I had already missed an appointment I'd had that morning because I has been waiting in for the delivery!!! Not impressed!

Paid £4.99 for next working day delivery. Ordered at 3.50pm before the 4pm deadline. Didn't receive a confirmation email until 4.02pm so they don't have to fulfil the next day promise. Small time company making big boy promises they can't keep.

Both our card servers and website show the order was not complete until after 4pm. Items were dispatched next working day

Told me it was next day delivery 5 days later a parcel turns up and its not even what I ordered. Will never use this company again.
