I ordered items online and paid using my bank card. The delivery driver brought to my attention that three of the five posts which were needed to complete the job were missing, and he advised me to phone or contact maxwells to inform you which my husband did. The remainder of the order was due on Monday and the remaining picket fencing arrived but no missing three posts, so therefore our workmen had to come back again another day. This resulting in me purchases the posts locally at additional costs. I also sent an email concerning the above and I have not even received any reply. My husband phoned again and he was offered the three missing posts to be sent out the following day which this was no good as the job is now finished, and he has asked for a refund Very disappointed customer

I have had a terrible experience with maxwells. I ordered 7 fence panels and some fixings. They were ment to arrive Friday. I called Thursday to get a rough time of delivery to be told I need to ring on Friday to get a time. I called Friday I was not given a time but was told that the delivery would only arrive in part at some point Friday as some of the panels were damaged and the replacement would be sent and delivered Saturday. Nothing arrived I waited in all day Saturday nothing arrived called the online support and no one was there to pick up the call. Monday morning I got back on the phone to be told my order wasn't on the system and they would re send it and it would arrive Tuesday by 12... Nothing arrived I called the office they lady said on her system it had been delivered and signed for. She was going to get back to me nothing so I called again and again. She told me it had been delivered and signed for by mark?? I don't know a mark and non of my neighbours are called mark it made no spence. I had been in and nothing arrived. A manager was going to call me straight back.. After 1hour I recalled the office to speak to him to be told that the delivery driver had switched his phone off but it had been delivered. I asked for a refund as there was no delivery and after waiting in 2 days for a delivery that hadn't turned up I was starting to get pretty peeved. And we are on day 5. He told me I needed to wait till the evening as the driver has delivered them. Pretty peeved at this point as I'm still without fencing. I then got a phone call to say that the driver was going back to where he had delivered them too and would re deliver to the right address. To me this all sounds dodgy as one the delivery had been signed for by someone. Two my address on the paper work was correct I was in. All in all the experience was awful from the shoddy delivery driver to the poor customer service and to top it off one of the fence panels was damaged when I did receive the panels. If you want your order on a certain time/ day and in good condition I'd go somewhere else.

Order arrived 3 days after specified date of delivery. When the order did arrive the fencing was damaged and broken. I had to take delivery of them as I needed to get the job completed. I did take photos but couldn't upload them all. The one that I have submitted shows the cross beam broken in half.

Ordered next day delivery, paid extra, waited in all day, delivery didn't turn up. Sent an email no response. Waited in the following day and still nothing. Called up and was promised a phone call. I had to again . Apparently item had been damaged in transit on Saturday, so why did I have to wait a further 48hrs?. Will not be ordering from you again!!

My paint had the incorrect delivery address, it had my neighbour's address and she has just come home for the first time this week and got very angry with me because it had her address. I needed the paint this week. When I rang yesterday, I was informed that the paint had been delivered to the wrong address but that a person with my name signed for it. This was not correct. I was then told it would be looked into and they would speak to the driver. I waited for a call but it did not come, I rang again still no call back. I now have the paint and a very angry neighbour. I paid through Paypal and have checked my Paypal address which is correct. This is just not good enough.

Your Website said that order with the next 3Hrs and receive it by Thursday, I ordered it on Wednesday and hoping to get the cleaner no later than Friday so that I can commence cleaning at the weekend. My order was despatched on the 29th June When I requested the courier company for this tracking number: JD00 022 52563 819848, Beth said that it was Royal Mail (I Googled it and it is a YODELL number not Royal Mail) Emailed again on the 30th for an ETA and the reply I got was "Hi, As you’ve paid for 2-3 day delivery it should be with you today or tomorrow at the latest. It will be delivered with your normal post Kind regards Beth" It finally got delivered on the 4th July (After the weekend I was planning to use them) YODEL POD: Your parcel has been delivered 04 July at 12:31

Ordered 4 items next day delivery only to receive one of those items . I called to complain rest of order finally arrived 2 days later.

Ordered my paint by next day delivery. Booked the decorator in to come. Paint never arrived so rang up only to be told it hadn't come in stock. Very disappointed. Never received an email. They gave me my refund for postage costs. But it's cost me for the decorator to come. Hope it comes tomorrow. But will not be using them again.

I purchased 2 tins of decking stripper on Thursday 5 May 16 with a next day delivery. After staying in all day Friday until 19.00 but it was not delivered.i phoned at 18.45 but customer services was closed I also emailed and have not received a reply. The the decking stripper was delivered on Saturday.if this is how you treat customers I can't see me ever using maxwells email service.

When ordering this paint which was a simple process it failed to arrive on the delivery date and I waited in all day Sat 7 May. I rang your contact number and a recorded voice advised me that I should leave a message and I would be called back with 30 minutes I rang again after a further hour. No call back. Rang Sunday same recorded message. Rang Monday answered straight away and was advised my complaint would be looked into. promised a call back but had to ring again to be told the package had been damaged in transit and it would be there Tues. It did arrive in a box. In the box was a plastic bag. I opened the plastic bag to remove the tin of paint to be covered in paint. The damaged tin had been placed in the bag and the lid taped on. The lid was not secured. One tap on the lid and hey presto it sealed. I was told I would be refunded the delivery. Not good and the delivery driver should have phoned me to tell me not to wait in !!

Did not deliver next day as promised. I ordered the paint on Friday before 4pm and did not receive it until the following Wednesday. Even then they got the wrong address on the label. I will not be ordering from them again.

I was very unhappy, I ordered on a Wednesday well before the cut off time for next day delivery of sand bags and I paid the £39.99 next day charge, they did not arrive on Thursday and when I called on Friday morning I was told they would not be there until Monday, demanding a Saturday delivery because I needed this as ballast for Sunday exhibition stand it was refused and I had to get a refund.

Ordered 26/3/16 here we are 02/04/16 goods have not arrived,I have not received any notification of dispatch,they have not replied to my e-mail asking where my goods are.In fact no comms whatsover other than this stupid request for feedback (surely you should have established that the goods had been sent before sending this? All in all a very poor experience.By the way Google are about as good as a chocolate fire guard when it comes to giving any assistance. I want my money back!!!!!!!

Delivery didn't arrive despite being told that it was definitely with the courier - this was a week after I'd ordered, paying for next day delivery. Offered a refund, but had to chase this up too as the money wasn't refunded when they said it would. Customer Service totally useless. Wouldn't recommend this company for online orders at all

After ordering my paint and paid for it, I organized my decorator to arrive on the same day. After him traveling 20 miles to reach me and charge me the paint not just didn't arrive I phoned Maxwell's up to be told they had not got any and cannot get it. I thought they would at least have sent me an email or phone the number I left on the order, but no, they didn't even bother to phone back after me calling and explaining my issue after the receptionist had said the manager was out and he would phone before 4:00, I am now out of pocket by the £80 the decorator has charged me for his time.

we placed our order last Thursday for next day delivery. unfortunately we had missed the 2pm deadline. I text Maxwells on Monday morning to enquire when it would be delivered. I did not receive a reply so my husband rang you in the afternoon. We were told the paint we wanted was out of stock and would arrive at Maxwells on Tuesday and be delivered to us on Wednesday. We received an email on Tuesday to say it would arrive Wednesday. I took a day off work and waited in all day and it did not arrive. I sent an email again last night asking where it was. So far we have not had a reply. The paint arrived sometime this morning and was left in the garden as we had requested. I understand there may be problems sometimes but it really annoys me that no one bothers to contact us or answer our emails. We are new customers and were planning to place a further order. However we will not be ordering from you again.

Paint order arrived with external packaging ripped/damaged, both lids off the paint. Paint all spilled out into packaging and leaking through . Phoned and was advised I would be sent a replacement. Over a week later and i waited but no replacement and no contact. When I phoned them I was told their stockist had discontinued this paint! So I wonder, was I ever going to be informed? I have been offered a refund through paypal, which is the way I originally paid. I'm thinking that as it is PayPal it would be an immediate refund as the payment to them was immediate. But at the end of day. .....still no refund into my PP account. Extremely Poor.
