I sent an order paid for it, the money came out my bank the next day, but no one thot if telling me that the item was out of stock and that it would take two weeks to get back in stock again. It's taking up to 7 days to refund the money. Not good customer service

Useless company. Only after completing an order and paying £20 for delivery instead of the free delivery they offer I was informed my delivery would be delayed. They assured me repeatedly that it would be the two days later. Two days later at the close of business, I am informed it will be another day, this is useless for tradesmen or business that actually need reliable deliveries. Will never use again, and if you are relying on their delivery times I suggest you order elsewhere.

Failure to deliver to specified named date (TWICE). When delivery did arrive the pallet was incomplete and of the items there were delivered some were damaged and the others were not square and straight (75mmx75mm Fence post, how a fence post cant be cut straight and square is beyond me). Customer service tried their best but they were let down by their operations and logistics companies. How hard is it to put 7 fence posts on a pallet and deliver them next day?

Bought two cans of paint: one was open and (badly resealed), meaning it spilled a bit during the delivery. The second was a mix by the store (of base and color) instead of coming directly from Dulux, and that was not specified in the page.

It does state in the product description of every Endurance paint that the range has been discontinued by Dulux and is now mixed using a Dulux Mixlab

They Took order and the money, I then received an email saying there was a problem and it was delayed, then I received another email two days later saying my order was cancelled, totally let me down as I had painters booked.

order and money taken then told you are out of stock , then told order dispatched , but when it arrived it was the wrong ordered item , Hopeless , what a shambles

Ordered 7 x 9L tubs of Fencelife Plus for delivery. Website was showing stock availability and took the order. Emailed later to inform me that they actually had no stock and couldn't fulfill the order in a timely manner.

Placed order for next day delivery was told by email order wasn't coming on day it was due phoned up customer services were they told me it would definitely be on van on Friday then 1hour later got another email saying the kitchen tops I had ordered and was told were at warehouse waiting to be delivered on Friday were no longer in stock told pack of lies will never buy anything from maxwells again very poor customer service

I order 3 of the same item next day delivery, two turned up late. The third item had to be a replacement but they couldn't get it from the warehouse. After 2 weeks I had to cancel the order. I won't use them again.

Ordered a oak barrel and when it arrived it was very old and rusty and looked like it had been left outside for a long time and nothing like the photo on their website

Ordered a 25 inch barrel, and upon delivery it arrived and looked like it had been left outside for years totally rusted out and nothing like the photograph in the advert.

Despite the website offering local delivery and accepting my payment by credit card, I later received an email telling me I was outside the delivery area. Although a refund was given, this was inconvenient. Surely my postcode should have indicated that there might be a problem. There is a Maxwells branch locally, so I assume the web business has no link with them. Not very impressed, probably won't use again. Off to drive 20 miles to get the stuff myself today.

terrible customer experience. Been waiting nearly a month for a product they tell me every week is on the way and simply cannot deliver a product they claim to sell

Order should have turned up tuesday, had email saying dispatch delayed, had to contact them late wednesday as still no delivery to then be told order was damaged in transit. Refund process was quick though

I ordered this on a Tuesday on the assumption it would be delivered the next day, I received an email at lunchtime on the Thursday saying it would be delivered on the Tuesday/Wednesday the following week. Why advertise next day delivery!!??
