“Travelled a long way to see a particular fire. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We ordered the fire which was delivered extremely quickly on a day of my choosing. Would certainly recommend.”

“I am extremely pleased with the fire and fireplace that I bought from Manor House fires. I was well advised by the staff on the type of fire that I could have given the current regulations. The staff were very helpful and I felt that the service I received was tailored to my needs. The fitters were also friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend.”

“Quite a large purchase by anybody's standard and after doing on-line research Manor House was one of the cheapest....not the very cheapest but Manor included free delivery, which considering the bulk and weight of the fire was very important to us decrepit oldies. The shop really knew their subject, as you would expect. Expectations which are often not translated into reality in a lot of shops; this certainly was not the case with the Manor. Another thing that impressed me was their reluctance to take a phone order without us actually seeing the products, they didn't want any risk of customer disappointment for the sake of reaching retail targets. Delivery was on time, about midway inside the hour slot that we were given. All in all thoroughly recommended”

“I have bought two fires from Manor House over the last few months (a free standing wood burner and a 'hole in the wall' gas fire) and am absolutely delighted with them both. The service I received from Manor was amazing at all levels and on all occasions - from initial enquires / site survey through the choosing and refining options, to the installation and follow up advice. There doesn't seem to be anything they don't know about fires and seem to be able to source anything and everything and then tailor slips / hearths etc. to your exact requirements. I think the thing which sets them apart though is their approach to safety; I had been to two other fire shops who seemed prepared to sell me anything (the fact that it could set my house alight was not mentioned!) but at Manor House they considered this as well and have safely and efficiently installed both fires taking care with my other fixtures and fittings as they did so. I am really really pleased with everything; buying a fire is such a big investment and quite difficult at times (if you don't have a chimney) but one which I am so happy I made as they have become the 'heart' of our home on winter evenings; they really DO bring everyone together! Thank you.”
