Transpired the item ordered was not available and by phone I was recommended a replacement, I should never have agreed to this as it isn't right for the setting, and according to Manor House could not be changed with Focus Fireplaces, who offered no solution. Wasted my money and time.

Visited their place a few days ago. Incredibly unhelpful. If I could have awarded them zero stars I would. We wanted someone to undertake the whole project in line with the content on their website. Unfortunately, the sales dude said ‘We’re too busy’. I don't have the time or knowledge to find a reliable gas engineer or a builder or a flooring fitter or to project manage the whole thing. On their website Manor House state they project manage the whole job. Really? I must have missed something there. Never darken their doors again. Horrific experience. Appalling customer service.

We ordered our new gazco fire and surround in May for fitting on 1st September and paid the invoice immediately. However, the new fire has not worked since it was fitted. Manor House Fires have left it to Gazco to sort and we have had terrible service from them too. Engineers have visited but have not fixed the fire. The last attempt was 23 Dec where we were told they would fix it for Xmas. The engineer (who wore no mask when coming into the house) said it had better work as he had replaced all the parts they could. Manor House fires did not contact us to check the engineer had come and simply said will contact you in new year. Christmas Day the fire did not work again.. We will have no fire now over the holiday period having been without it for nearly 5 months already. Terrible service and still no way forward. Would certainly not recommend.

not received my order as yet - 13th September. This item was ordered on 3rd September. Rang Manor House chasing up the order - and eventually found out that Manor House Fireplaces had not received it themselves. Still waiting to hear when I will receive it.

Good afternoon Ms Helsby, Thank you for your review – we appreciate both positive and negative reviews in an ongoing effort to improve. I regret that we are still waiting for this to be received by ourselves and have again chased it up with the manufacturer – unfortunately, we are experiencing some delays with all of their products at the moment. I must apologise about the lack of communication here, there is no excuse. Please rest assured that I am doing everything I can to chase your order with the manufacturer so that we can get this delivered to you as soon as possible and I will let you know as soon as I have further news. I waited all day for the delivery and it didn't turn up, In the evening a very honest neighbour called and said the delivery was forced into her house because the wrong hose number was put on the invoice. I had never met this lady before and she told me the driver was very rude to her and although she told him the parcel was not for her he insisted she take it in. Totally disappointed and cross about the whole episode they had my mobile number to get in touch with me. Also if my neighbour had been dishonest the parcel would never have been seen!

Under normal circumstances the couriers send automated text messages and/or emails with details of the time slot that your delivery would arrive. In the rare instance when this does not happen or delivery fails to meet this time, we would welcome a call to us to let us know and we can then follow this up with the couriers and avoid disappointment.
