We are looking into alternative ways to package and send our products however, due to the fragile nature of the products that we sell, the packaging we use helps to prevent any damage that may be caused in transit. Please accept our apologies that Philips originally supplied us with information to the effect that these bulbs are equivalent to 65watt halogen bulbs, so we will change our website, as the Philips box does now indicate they are 50watt equivalent, so thank you for your feedback, which is appreciated. This style of GU10 bulb replaces the earlier compact fluorescent GU10 bulbs that were longer, so some low energy fittings do require this size of bulb. We do offer a 14 day change your mind policy, if you would like to return this product and arrange an alternative. Customer Service Team
