About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“I bought my St Ives plimsolls because they looked so good on my friend. I have a widish foot and I found them a bit tight and they squeaked! I've returned them and hope the next size may give me a bit more wiggle room.”

“Very uncomfortable after wearing for a few hours - however this may be just my feet. Beautiful design - look lovely - but just not comfortable on my feet.”

“Lovely sandals but the strap around the heel is designed to sit too low on the heel so when you walk they slip off. Will be retuning for refund”

“Not the quality I am used to from Lunar. The material feels cheap and the fit isn't as good as one's I've had before. Bit dissapointing as I've ordered a similar boot from them before and they were great.”

“Unfortunately the sandals I ordered were different to the image used in the marketing. I received a quick response from customer service with an invitation to return them but it would be better if the image was corrected. There was clearly no intention to do that.”

“I usually wear a 5, but these sandals are much too wide to keep (and the straps can't be tightened). Hoping for an exchange but these and other size 4 sandals are out of stock on the website.”

“The leather is soft and lovely on the feet and the colour is just as I expected. However, the sole is a bit flat so they are probably not best suited for longer walks even on flat surfaces.”

“Lovely shoes such a shame you don’t deliver to the Isle of Man. I ordered two pairs of shoes but to get them I had to get them delivered to my son in the UK then he had to post them to the island at a cost also in all it took two weeks before I received my shoes.”

“I have bought - and praised - Lunar shoes and sandals for many years but I'm sorry to say that I have now finally been "sized" out. Last year I had to buy a size 4 sandal to get enough width; this time the size 3 is not only too wide but too long as well. A European size 36 is more a British size 3 1/2 so as size 3/36 is the smallest you now make, I must say goodbye. I have returned my latest order, with regret. I cannot change my feet.”

“I received a pair of damaged shoes, emailed you straight away with pics, got no response from yourselves at all. I posted shoes back using prepaid label, got a brief email saying u had received them, but that was it no personalised reply, no apology. Now an email saying you sent another pair out by royal mail this time.”

“I purchased my lovely red boots after much searching on every website without any luck. A size 8 it stated.......sadly nowhere near a size 8. Upon measuring against various size 8's and measuring lengths, they are most definitely not! More like a size 7. Shall have to return them paying £2.95 for the privilege of trying on a pair of obviously size 7's.”
