About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“Good delivery size a slight issue - would love to see 35”

“I would have given 5 stars for my shoes as I absolutely love them. I ordered them for a wedding but unfortunately when they arrived 1 shoe had a very distinctive mark on the front. I phoned to see if a replacement could be sent but were told they were out of stock. I was offered a reduction in price but didn't accept as I didn't think I would be able to keep them. I tried a suede brush and rubber to remove the mark which did nothing. In the end I tried white spirit on a cotton bud which thankfully worked. I have emailed customer services asking for a price reduction as they shouldn't have been sent out in that condition but have recently no response”

“Had to return the blue canvas shoes as size 5 was coming up to big so might try size 4 have had a lot of lunar shoes and size 5 was perfect so can only think it is this make of shoes thank you”

“Ordered 2 pairs of shoes for my holidays which I knew would fit because I've had them before and loved them (St Ives and Evie). Received notification that they had been dispatched and were on their way. When the parcel arrived there was only one pair of shoes. When I contacted Lunar they said I would be refunded for the second pair because they were 'unable to be picked'. No apology, and no notifcation that this had happened until I chased them. Lovely shoes, but poor customer service on this occasion, hence only 3 stars”

“Gibson Grey Slipper (KLS139GR) 369493 (WEB369493 Very pretty and on arrival looked good, very soft to touch with velvety lining. When wearing socks, after just a few steps, the socks very quickly work their way down off the heels of my feet and into the slipper - as the inner slipper is very 'slippery'. Tried using a very thin inner shoe liner but it still happens. Anyone else have this issue?”

“Ordered slippers which are lovely but are wrongly sized. I wanted a size eight but Lunar Shoes size 41EU as an eight but it is a british 7.5. On sole of slipper it is marked 41 but inside is a paper size tag saying 7. A size 8 is 42EU. Shoe companies need to standarise. Nevertheless the despatch was quick and the slippers are lovely.”

“I ordered 4 pairs size 7. Which is my normal size. Sadly they are a bit small, one pair now ruined. Sadly I don’t live in UK to be able to return them. I have now ordered two more pairs size 8. They are very comfortable but careful as if tight the stitching pulls away from the sole.. very sad and not cheap.. let’s see what size 8 brings me…”

“I purchased 2 pairs of Grisport inner soles, delivery was fast and postage was much cheaper than anywhere else on-line. The reason I chose Grisport was because I have been a big fan of their boots for about 10 years and have owned 5 pairs. I do, however, have a problem with this product, not the seller. The anti-shock gel “disc” is a really bad idea, shortly setting off on a 14 mile walk it felt like I had a 2p coin in each boot. After 5 ½ hours and 14 miles, my heels were very sore. I think the problem is the gel disc should support the whole heel, not just a small circle. Also, as the gel is exposed where the rest of the inner sole is cloth, this stopped my sock moving as it stuck to the gel with each step. I should add, I only wear Bridgedale socks with Bridgedale liner socks and if I end up with sore heels then there is a problem with these inner soles.”

“I bought my St Ives plimsolls because they looked so good on my friend. I have a widish foot and I found them a bit tight and they squeaked! I've returned them and hope the next size may give me a bit more wiggle room.”

“Lovely sandals but the strap around the heel is designed to sit too low on the heel so when you walk they slip off. Will be retuning for refund”

“Not the quality I am used to from Lunar. The material feels cheap and the fit isn't as good as one's I've had before. Bit dissapointing as I've ordered a similar boot from them before and they were great.”

“Unfortunately the sandals I ordered were different to the image used in the marketing. I received a quick response from customer service with an invitation to return them but it would be better if the image was corrected. There was clearly no intention to do that.”
