About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“The leather is soft and lovely on the feet and the colour is just as I expected. However, the sole is a bit flat so they are probably not best suited for longer walks even on flat surfaces.”

“Lovely shoes such a shame you don’t deliver to the Isle of Man. I ordered two pairs of shoes but to get them I had to get them delivered to my son in the UK then he had to post them to the island at a cost also in all it took two weeks before I received my shoes.”

“I have bought - and praised - Lunar shoes and sandals for many years but I'm sorry to say that I have now finally been "sized" out. Last year I had to buy a size 4 sandal to get enough width; this time the size 3 is not only too wide but too long as well. A European size 36 is more a British size 3 1/2 so as size 3/36 is the smallest you now make, I must say goodbye. I have returned my latest order, with regret. I cannot change my feet.”

“I received a pair of damaged shoes, emailed you straight away with pics, got no response from yourselves at all. I posted shoes back using prepaid label, got a brief email saying u had received them, but that was it no personalised reply, no apology. Now an email saying you sent another pair out by royal mail this time.”

“Shoes were very nice but far too big. I take a 51/2 and ordered a size 6 as recommended but they were far too big and so I had to return them”

“I purchased my lovely red boots after much searching on every website without any luck. A size 8 it stated.......sadly nowhere near a size 8. Upon measuring against various size 8's and measuring lengths, they are most definitely not! More like a size 7. Shall have to return them paying £2.95 for the privilege of trying on a pair of obviously size 7's.”

“Having been buying the same sandals for a few years, was quite disappointed to see some changes.They are definitely not as soft between the toes, they now have a horrible gold trim around them.”

“I was delighted with these boots. Lovely soft leather and a vivid colour. Looking forward to wearing them. This was the first time I had ordered from Lunar. I did drop 2 stars as I was unhappy about the delivery. My initial arrangements with Jenny {who was very helpful}to hold back the delivery were unfortunately missed/ignored. I only had under an hour's notice of delivery and I was 3 hours away from home ....... Fortunately I was able to arrange for a neighbour to accept the parcel.”

“I have two pairs of Lunar St Ives which I absolutely love. I go a size up to accommodate my slightly swelling feet in the summer months. My usual size fit ok but they are snug. I bought Collette slippers in the larger size but found them to be tight and hard to get on. Definitely smaller sizing than the St Ives. Disappointed. The website experience, delivery etc were very good. A bit fed up that I had to pay for my return.”

“Bought casual trainers in June 2023 from Friary Shop Lichfield Staffs ,got caught in a heavy rain shower last Thursday 19October 2023 ,socks were soaked ,went back to Shop on Friday was told that they were not waterproof ,very disappointed .”

“St Ives Pumps - There are so pretty and slip on soft as you like and make my size 7 hooves look like a human lady's feet for a change. They are comfortable to nip around in for a couple of hours, but they offer no support, they are more like slippers and I suspect the sole won't last a month of wear. However, if you're not walking far, nor on your feet all day, they are cute and OK .”

“The slippers i purchased are for a gift and they look just like the image and description online. However the box in which they were delivered is absolutely shredded therefore I cannot give the gift in the box which is a shame.”

“I would like to write something more positive but I have just sent my last order back to you as one pair of sandals has a mark on the strap which is right on the top. These obviously were not checked before sending out. I have requested a refund.”

“I loved the look of the shoes but the straps were too loose for me and kept slipping off - such a shame as they were so lovely. But this hasn't put me off ordering a different pair in future as the online service was good”

“Unfortunately, I have had to return these shoes as they are both too small. They were sold as size 8 but seem more like 7-71/2. Of the two pairs of shoes, the decoration on the front of the right shoe ( grey) was scuffed/discoloured. Very disappointed an I wanted them for my son's wedding.”

“Lovely soft shoes which is just as well as my toes are very squashed and right at the end. You really need to allow more room for the big toe!”

“The sandals that I ordered in size 6 were so small that I couldn’t get my feet into them. I have had lunar footwear in the past and a 6 fitted perfectly. Not sure why the sandals were so small”

“I usually take size 6.5 so ordered a 7 the plimsolls are lovely soft leather but extremely small. I've now got a size 8 which is perfect. I would have given a 5 star for the shoes but for the sizing which is extremely odd. A bigger size needs to be ordered”

“I already have a similar pair but was disappointed with these as the ankle strap was too short and only just reached the Velcro fastener”
