About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“Asked for the parcel to be left on drive behind bin and Royal Mail took them back to dept trying to get them redelivred”

“Sandals were lovely but not wide enough. Never had that problem before. Did think of getting the next size up but the length was OK and thought the width may not change. So had to pay to return them. Gave 3 stars as sizing was not normal and had to pay postage and then pay again to return.”

“I ordered 3 pairs of the same sandal in 3 different colours (black, white & bronze) in a size 7. I received 2 of the same sandal in black size 7 & one pair in bronze size 8. I am disapointed to say the least and it looks like I have to pay postage to return them through no fault of my own.”

“I have often bought Lunar shoes and love the styling. However, I wish they were a little more padded on the sole and more consistent in size. The ankle straps (which are not adjustable) were very tight on this latest purchase and I have very slim ankles!”

“I purchased a pair of white Lunar trainers from Chatsworth garden centre, tried them on briefly and was impressed because the leather was so soft and the insole a delight. Looking back, I think plenty of others had tried them on, hence them being semi worn in, but no bother, they were just what I was looking for. Before purchase, I noted they were a size 41, which is a size 7. I normally take a size 7 and a half so once back home decided to order a pair in black, size 8, online, as I am on my feet at work quite a lot, but was both disappointed and angry when the same size 41 appeared. Apparently you think this is a size 8 ? The shoe/trainer hurts my right foot and having worn them once will not be doing so again - they will end up in the charity bag - an expensive mistake. Buyer beware !! (The shoe was well made and the leather good quality)”

“Was really looking forward to receiving my new sandals, they are very comfortable however, the black dye colour comes off thd sole and stains my feet and the soft upper material has already started to split where the foot bends. Poor quality as only had a few days. Disappointing.”

“I love Lunar shoes but my last order arrived too late despite me paying an extra £4.99 for next working day delivery. Ordered Thurs delivered Tues evening but not left in my secure place so dpd came back Weds and there was someone in. I'd unfortunately left on Tues to go and work elsewhere for the week. Also I love Lunar because I could guarantee they fit however this time the sizing seems different both pairs are too small. Disappointed this time.”

“I have bought many lunar shoes in the past .But this pair of sandals although very nice are quit narrow .I then ordered the next size up hoping that they might come up a bit wider but they were still narrow.”

“I recently bought a pair of lunar slippers. Having bought many slippers before from lunar, all fantastic, I am very disappointed to say that after 3 months of wear this sole has come away from the bottom of the slipper. What can I do?”

“The shoes look good and fitted well but the right one makes squishy air noises when walking. (possibly the thong part of shoe was too close to cushioned area of shoe so air coming through hole). I have returned them today hoping for an speedy exchanged. A postal sticker was included so very easy to do.”

“We're too small returned then replacement order did not arrive so I now I am getting a refund as apparently you won't be getting any more stock which I find very strange as slippers are used all year”

“Difficult for me to rate the shoes that I purchased. Whilst the style and quality is great, the sizing is way out. I ordered a size 8, but the size is more like a small 7. So much so that I wore them once and was in agony as they were so tight. Can't return them, so they will be going to the charity shop - £40.00 wasted :(”

“I ordered Tan slipper boots and received grey slipper boots, I’ve had to return them for exchange. Hopefully I will receive the correct ones soon as they are a present for my daughter. But the other pair were lovely and came within two days of order, so I was please about that.”

“I always try to buy lunar as they are so comfortable unfortunately these are quite small in size and the bar across the top is quite tight but they look lovely”

“I was very disappointed i had to return my purchase. They were very small fitting. I have bought Lunar shoes before and usually i can buy the same size but this time the sizing didn't seem to ne quite as good.”
