About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“GOOD: Ordered shoes direct I'd seen in a shop that didn't have my size. Arrrived quickly, lovely soft leather. Nominal postal charge to return (£2.50) and refund of remainder received quickly. BAD: Sizing is TINY! I have fairly narrow, long feet taking a UK 8 and lacing tight. Lunar's alleged UK 8 was just like others' UK size 6. I could get them on, but not comfortably. A shame as they seemed good quality.”

“Loved all of the shoes I sent for but sadly the sizes were very hit and miss - I already have one pair of St Ives shoes and took the smaller size hoping they’d stretch, they have a little but ordering other styles in the same size has proved fruitless - a couple I couldn’t even get on and the next size up was huge.”

“Lovely trainer , extremely comfortable , love the zip option .. although the colour descriptions need Looking in to ! I did report that the Aubrey light blue trainer is grey/silver and does not have even a hint of blue !! Gorgeous design but not blue !! Has been reported to company .”

“I loved 'Charlotte' sandles and been buying them for several years, however this year the shape has changed, they are narrower than before. Not sure if I will like them as much. Its also a shame they dont come in lovely colours like they used to. I have had lime green,pink,orange, peach and loved them! Bring back the bright colours!”

“Unfortunately sizing is a problem when you want a size 8/42. - I think the sizes must be European as mine were too small and I received size 8/41. Otherwise fast delivery.”

“The two pairs I recently sent for were much wider the ankle end so unfortuately I had to return them. They seem, in general to be getting wider. It is unfortunate as I find them a really comfortable and well made trainer/shoe. may send for another pair later to see if they are a better fit. Thank you”

“Purchased Roseville ankle boots on line - they arrived two days later, so very impressed with the speed of delivery. I already have two pairs of Lunar Boots and one pair of trainers, so I know they are good quality footwear. Unfortunately, these new boots were a bit too tight across the toes, but otherwise they look great. I've now returned them to be exchanged for a pair of the same style I've had before.”

“The shoes were lovely, also ordered the matching bag, they arrived in good time and were packed very nicely, unfortunately the shoes were too high for me as I need to wear them for a wedding, great price in the sale, would recommend the company.”

“The leather is super soft and doesn’t rub so really comfortable However, I’ve found the soles quite thin & not suitable to walk on uneven surfaces without feeling little stones underfoot”

“I bought two pairs of Claire lunar ankle boots. Beautiful colours and very soft leather but unfortunately had to return them as they were too tight over the top of my foot. Lengthwise a good fit, I bought a 6 and usually take 5.5 or 6 just too narrow.”

“My purchases arrived on time, and I love them! On one sandal was a very slight scuff mark but I'm sure a silver pen will resolve it, no need for me to return them.”

“Reason for 4*. I’m hoping my recent order of lunar boots are as comfortable and stylish as my previous orders the name of the boots have changed and the side zip may be shorter they are certainly more expensive ( but only to be expected in this climate ) the previous similar boot was JEMMA now the name is DANUBE , why change it if it works, Iv waited over a year perhaps two years for this boot to become available again as after finding I could work all day in them they were a must have , the only downside was they weren’t very waterproof. Also the tan colour isn’t available.”
