I recently bought a Luminati acrylic display cabinet. When I received and unpacked the cabinet, I was surprised to find that the door wouldn't open. The door had been incorrectly fitted such that it was on the inside of the door stop, not the outside! The solution as advised by Luminati required me to 'pop the hinges' (remove the hinge pins), take off the door, reposition it correctly and then replace the pins. It took quite some time, but the door is now fine and the cabinet is as it should be. What is disappointing is that Luminati were slow to offer any apology and have refused to offer any kind of part refund for their manufacturing fault and my inconvenience in having to fix it. They even tried to claim that the door must have been pushed past the stop during transit, which due to the inflexibility of acrylic is impossible without it being damaged. So whilst I would still recommend the cabinet to others, I would warn that there are clearly some quality control issues that Luminati is reluctant to address.

Product was easy to order and the website was informative - more so than many competitors, which was ultimately why I ordered. Delivery wasn't fast (about four weeks), but I'm assuming each product is made to order and I received email confirmation, so that wasn't a problem, and I was more than happy with the quality of the finished result. Packing was also extremely good, with the cabinet very well cushioned in multiple layers of bubble-wrap. Would order from them again very happily.

The only thing I think could better the service is to keep the purchaser informed about expected delivery dates. Also trying to contact is difficult through computer site only.

This company sent me my order after three weeks and it was because I called to ask where my order is and for more they send me some broken plastic pieces that support the screen when the web shows that they are aluminum, I have sent them an email and no they respond and now they play crazy, be careful with this company

Order came damaged and without all the parts. Called about this and was asked to email photos. Did this, twice big no reply. Emailed again, no reply. Left with a damaged item I cannot use. Rubbish.

I ordered Clear Acrylic Food Display Cabinet. The quality is very nice and it is the same as what I see on the website. The delivery take long time but I am happy now.

We ordered an item which we decided wasn't suitable. Upon eventually getting a response from Kate at Luminati, we were told incorrect information regarding their terms and conditions on returns. We corrected Kate and agreed to pay the postage on the return. We packaged it back up in the original packaging Luminati sent it to us and returned it via Parcelforce. We received an email from Kate, showing photos of the item absolutely smashed to pieces, you couldn't have done a better job with a sledgehammer. They now say we need to claim from Parcelforce (which is another story) but I need photos of the external and internal packaging and despite 5 email requests, I am still yet to receive these, therefore they are holding up my Parcelforce claim. I honestly think that this item was damaged when it arrived back at Luminati as they did not want to refund us the money and are now ignoring us again as they did at the start when we asked about returning the item. Very poor service.

12 frames were ordered, boxes were damaged on arrival. When checked some of the damage must have been prior to despatch, which makes me doubt quality control standards. Replacement polycarbonate sent out to replace damaged items, some of which were also damaged, now had 3 deliveries before we have full delivery without damage. Communication not great, no email replies since the initial complaint, just emails notifying that packages were on the way and with the courier.
