“I am very pleased with the product and service. Price is a little high, but my family and I think that pizzas in the gozne dome are better when cooked with wood, and it smells amazing.”

“I strongly recommend this business. New to the BBQ world, I was wanting to improve my cooking flavours. I was amazed, as were my guests by the impact that high quality charcoal has on a cook. It was transformative, for example, to the flavour of sweetcorn. Ditto souvlaki chicken and vegetable skewers. I will, quite simply, never go back to supermarket charcoal again. It's like going from instant to 'real' coffee. Love Logs were prompt, communicated welland delivered on quality. I can't wait to try the impact of wood pellets on my slow-cooked brisket this weekend. Wow!!!! Thank you so much Jon, this is the type of review that makes it all worthwhile 😍 There are so many things about good charcoal that make a difference to your food - the complete carbonation, the single species woods used, the high temperatures you can reach - and I'm so glad you found it! The cherry and apple chunks are going to take you to a whole new level!!! I'd go for cherry with beef, apple may be a little too subtle. Thanks so much for your review! Paul

“First time using Love Logs, really impressed! Customer service has been excellent giving some great advice when asking questions. The communication has been spot on throughout the ordering process and afterwards too. The pellets burn nicely! My Ooni got up to temp in no time at all. Packaging was great, no plastic in sight and fast postage too! Will be using again!”

“I bought lumpwood charcoal and medium logs for my Ooni Karu 16. Comms from lovelogs were great and they got in touch first when the courier lost part of the order, so there was no need for me to chase. The charcoal burns really well and really hot. So much better than the stuff you get in the petrol station. The logs are just the right size for a Karu 16. They last a reasonable long time - I've found in the past that other, smaller logs need almost constant replenishment, but not these. My tip: Use just the charcoal to get up to 300c or so, then add logs to boost up to 500c, but also add more charcoal to give a sort of background heat. works really well.”

Hi Pete, thanks so much for the detailed review! Agree with your process completely... I find I can get to at least 350C with charcoal, then add a log to boost! And agree on topping up the charcoal as you go, useful if you need to wander away from the oven for a bit! Happy pizza making 🍕 Paul

“A premium product with superb range of different woods which all make for excellent fuel on my asado grill and in the pizza oven (manages to deliver much higher temperatures than run of the mill logs, which leads to superior cooking results). Fast delivery times and great packaging make this is a 5 star service.”

“The logs are the perfect size for my Ooni 12g. They burn very cleanly and produce lovely rolling flame. Reasonable price and delivered the next working day as promised. Will definitely get all my fuel from Love Logs in the future.”
