“Excellent wood, perfectly sized for my smoker. Added a really lovely flavour to the pork I cooked but I have only used them once ar this point. I'm looking forward to using then again.”

“Hadn't needed to top up on wood for quite a while as a garden re-design and the weather, put a damper, excuse the pun, on outdoor cooking. However, Love Logs always hit the mark, and just in time for the bank holiday and the arrival of a new OONI Karu 16, my order arrived, earlier than advertised”

Always good to see the "old school" faces back from when we first launched - thanks so much for your unwavering support Kenny! The Karu 16 is a bit of a beast, works best with a lumpwood base but if you dial in the wood on it's own that works great too! Paul 🔥

“Superb quality and love the various kits … always get the log burner kit as it’s perfect for the house. Just bought the Gosney Dome kit, but haven’t tried it yet (poor weather) but am sure it’ll be awesome.”

“So let's talk logistics. The delivery speed is fast as amazon and the personal service is second to none. Product? I've had oak logs and beech batons and they come incredibly dry and clean. I use the logs for cooking on a firepit grill. I get about 3 to 4 cooks with a box but I'm fairly new to open fire cooking so I hope to become more efficient in time. I will definitely be buying more love logs in the future. I love that they plant trees too. I love trees.”

Awesome! Love the Somerset. My advice is not to over-use the ember maker... once you have a good bed of embers just add small beech splits to it where needed, that way you get cooking heat from both the live fire and the embers. Cheers, happy cooking 🔥 Paul

“Speedy delivery and a big box full of kindling cut to ooni size. Only thing I'd change would be the ability to buy the kindling only, I've got plenty natural firelighters already”

Hi Graeme, thanks for the review! We'll take a look and see if this is something we can do, but as a low margin business we do have to keep things streamlined so it may prove tricky to keep additional stock. You can buy the kindling on its own at 20+ Blue Diamond Garden Centres across the UK, in case you have one nearby! Or perhaps you could just stop buying the other brand of firelighters and switch to using ours 😆 Paul

“Fantastic service and communication from the point of ordering right through to delivery. Then the best bit… the quality of the product supplied (250mm cherry and apple) far exceeded my expectations. Really low moisture content and of the highest quality wood. Will definitely be using them again.”

“Second time using love logs. Delivery was fast, strong boxes and an excellent product, perfectly dry timber. I like to cook over wood embers rather than charcoal and this will keep me going for a while, but I will be ordering again later in the summer, assuming it stops raining!”

“I've tried a few other ways to have logs delivered and Love Logs beats them all with price, quality and convenience. I've had a subscription set up all winter - easy to manage and use. The handwritten 'packed by' note in the box is a charming personal touch.”
