“Fabulous service - my order was despatched same day and arrived within 2 days. I'm so thrilled with my purchase too - a 1000m spool of Kingstar metallic gold thread. I've been struggling with another make of metallic threads far too long and saw Kingstar was getting a lot of good reviews on a Facebook embroidery group, so decided to cut my losses and try some Kingstar, which I found advertised on Lord Sewing web-site. Gosh, it's pure joy to embroider with - I followed the guidance on Lord's web-site also, by placing the thread behind my machine rather than on my thread stand to the right. No twists, breakage or shredding whatsoever - I didn't have to stop and re-thread at any point, and didn't even need to change my 75/11 needle (as I've been doing with the other metallics). Couldn't believe how smoothly this thread ran through my machine - my only regret is not discovering Kingstar before. More expensive than my other metallics - but worth every penny as I'm not expecting any more wastage. Well, apart from throwing my other metallics in the bin !! I'll no longer be hesitant about using metallic thread any more and really looking forward to embroidering many more fsl christmas decorations. :)”
