“A very competitive price and the Miele larder fridge was available ex-stock. I did phone to ask if I could collect and was told "yes that is OK". I then asked what reduction could be had for collecting. The reply was "NONE - we have a standard £40 delivery charge which is fixed and I could get no discount for collecting". I let them deliver.”

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to read you had a frustrating experience in regards to the delivery charge, but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I have looked into this and checked your invoice and I can see that there isn’t a charge of £40 for delivery as the item cost above £400 which means any delivery is covered. Free delivery is included on any order above £400, this isn’t in anyway a discount. Hence why we don’t discount any further on collection. I apologise this wasn’t made clear to you on purchase. If there is still any confusion on your end in regards to our delivery charges, please do contact us and we will explain.

“Got my delivery today driver brought it into my hall and undid box to check glass wasn’t broken and everything ok. What a nice guy and thank you very much. Normally when you have delivery’s from companies driver just dumps it and then off. Would buy from this company again. Also when ordering Micheal who took my order was very helpful and polite.”

“I have yet to use the Neff oven I purchased as we are still having the kitchen fitted, but delivery and communication before I ordered the oven with Long Eaton was excellent. They delivered exactly when they said they would and let me choose a date which was convenient for me. Would use again.”

“I am looking to buy a Quooker Tap system on your website, but please can you tell me why every Quooker Tap system has no price on them. Is it perhaps they are to expensive and you are possibly embarrassed at adding the price...!!”

Hi Mike, we don't show prices on our Quooker products as we have found when customers order from our website they very commonly order the incorrect tank size or colour/finish. We would much rather speak to our customers and give them a better idea of what Quooker product is suitable for their home and lifestyle. This will often save your money! “Sales and service were very good, on our purchase of a Bosch washing machine from LEA. The installation was excellent: friendly, quick, clean and very efficient. My only criticism is that the Bosch offer redemption method was not clearly explained to us, and Bosch re-directed my enquiries to the wrong contacts three times on this. It's proved to be a long drawn-out process - we purchased the machine on May 28th and still have not had the £50 cash-back. (Apparently it's now due to us on August 11th.) Fair bit of hassle from Bosch and their promo company, so be warned: cash-backs can be over two months to be redeemed, and you may have to chase Bosch up to get it. (If LEA had pre-warned us on how to work the scheme, I'd have given them 5 stars.)”
