They said that it will be a 1 man delivery and he will only drop the item at the kerbside (when confirming my order over the phone), so I arranged a family member to take off a day of work to be at home with me to help me carry the fridge upstairs (I live in a 2nd floor flat). It was actually a 2 man delivery on the day. The 2 delivery guys said carrying the fridge upstairs was included in the price so I asked my family member to take off a day of annual leave needlessly. Would appreciate better communication next time. The fridge is great though.

Thank you for your review, firstly we’re glad to hear that the quality of our product matched your expectations. But secondly I am sorry to hear you have had a frustrating experience in regards to our two man delivery service. I have looked in to this and I can see that it was CDS (our delivery courier) who delivered this to you, our delivery service charge only covers a 1 man service. I can only apologise on behalf of CDS, that their delivery drivers told you this was part of the delivery service, which is not actually the case. We cannot control how many delivery person(s) attend our deliveries and it is only on occasion that they will send two people. I appreciate the frustration of having to ask your family member to take time off to help you, and for that we apologise.

Delighted with my 3 products when they arrived. Supply Chain issues were recognised and products had all arrived at LEA from different sources at different times by the dates I was given. The first delivery date given to me was 16.30 to 19.30 on Friday 27 May (the day every school finished for the Jubilee Half Term) which because we were leaving Friday lunchtime to holiday with family flying out of Heathrow early Saturday we cancelled. Short notice meant we couldn’t get anyone to cover it. The builder was also not able to accept the delivery. A rearranged date was agreed for Monday 6th June. That happened but the Stoves Fridge Freezer was missing said my builder. I emailed your sales team 3 times to ask what was going to happen next but never received a reply. I telephoned your office on Monday 13th June upon return to UK and agreed a revised delivery date of Wednesday 15th June . At 15.30 on the day with no Fridge Freezer I called the office to be told the Courier hadn’t received the scans from you for a number of deliveries including mine so it was LEA so Andy taking personal control rearranged for Friday 17 June. This was successful. I received a good price and good technical help but delivery let you and me down as the kitchen refurb was delayed by 20 days. Two questions- why don’t you liaise more with customers over delivery dates especially if they are 70+ miles away. and Why did no one from Sales decide this was important or serious for a reply. I was abroad and only had Broadband access when in the apartment but I managed to email Sales@LEA.

Hi Mrs Mold, Was lovely speaking to you today regarding what happened with your delivery and answering your questions. As discussed if the first delivery hadn't been cancelled on the day of delivery, due to the builder not being able to take delivery for you all items would have been delivered and not taken back to the courier's warehouse. Due to the items being on a few invoices, all I can do is apologise for our courier and them missing the 2nd invoice which lead to the delay in delivery of the fridge. Sales did get your 2 emails and they were forwarded straight to delivery who called the courier to rearrange delivery straight away for you and so the fridge freezer was delivered out to you 2 days later. Range cooker arrived on time as promised. Product was a competitive price. Two man delivery was only cause for concern as was not particularly professional. Had barrow but no lifting gear to get cooker into house. Cooker was rather bundled through the door on its end. Good job it was well packaged.

Was a long time waiting to receive notification that the Fridge freezer had been delivered. The product if fine but the seal that was fitted to trim the fridge freezer into the cabinet continually falls out and has to be stuck back in before the door closes.

Delivery was delayed as they took down wrong details on their system. We chased and they had had the appliance ready to deliver for weeks. When delivered there was a fault and it didn’t work. Was sorted out and repaired.

I'm sorry to hear there was a delay on your delivery , i am unsure why or how a wrong address was taken and i will investigate so this does not happen again. What could easily have been a five star review for Long Eaton Appliances (LEA) is now only a three star review. We have been dealing with LEA via email and telephone but failing to get our issue resolved, we have decided to leave this review. Whilst this is a small matter, it should have been one which could have been easily resolved or which we could have been kept informed about. Cooker ordered August 2020, staff very polite, efficient and informed. Delivery and fitting was booked for November 2020 and whilst we did have to chase this up as the date had arrived and we had not received any contact from them, it was delivered and fitted a week later in November. It was done very efficiently and the old cooker was also disconnected and taken away. All work was completed in a very safe manner. One hiccup was that the fittings to secure the base plinth were missing (potential trip hazard if not secured, so currently it is not used). After been shown how to fit the plinth, it was agreed the fittings could be sent to us as I would be happy to fit the plinth, along with the gas installation/disconnection paperwork which was being dealt with at their offices. After several emails, phone calls and two appointments suggested by LEA which have not been met, we are still without the fittings or paperwork. We were given a reason for the first missed appointment but have heard nothing as yet regarding the latest date, 6th January 2021 or had any other contact from them. For ease and speed, we had also agreed to accept their offer of receiving the fittings from their showroom model. Whilst up to the delivery and installation LEA provided a great service, it is dissappointing that our experience dealing with this company is ending on a sour note. We hope our issue will soon be resolved.

We visited Long Eaton Appliances 11/10 /19. Searching for an appliance bundle on entering the store we were warmly greeted by a staff member called Michael, a very pleasant helpful and knowledgable man whom was also a real likeable and funny character who didn’t pester us but when we were readyMichael took us around the store explaining everything we wanted to know about the products. The store has a great showroom clean spacious and full of on show appliances. Long Eaton appliances are very competitive, and I believe you will not be disappointed with this company I will recommend them to anyone. Great service great appliances and great staff especially Michael. A real credit to Long Eaton Appliances.

We decided to use a smaller supplier to purchase our new cooker. But at no point was it obvious on the website that there would be a 4 week wait for it. We could of cancelled (nearly did) as the bigger suppliers were offering to deliver within 5 days as they hold a small stock, but after a couple of email chats with sales, I was hopeful it would have been sooner. A little disapointed that after spending nearly £1000 there was not more communication from staff just letting us know that the purchase was appreciated and they hadn't forgot us. When eventually i got a call to arrange delivery they could only do a certain day not when i was available. Kept saying no cant deliver that day up north. The delivery men were super nice though very thoughtful and professional and i appreciated that very much. The cooker is really good and im getting used to it. Hi, Was nice talking to you today I'm am glad to hear you are enjoying your new range. I was sorry to hear you have been unhappy with the delay on your order, however i can see from our records that emails were sent on 8th April stating the exact delay with correspondence from you We did not have the item in stock, which is not unusual for a belling range cooker. Once your product arrived in to us you were rung and delivery booked in on a available day for your postcode .

The price for the item I wanted was excellent, one of the lowest I could find online. The problem though is that I don't need a 2 man delivery, or the complications that come from this, to get a food mixer. So I had to wait a lot longer than I believe necessary, only have a choice of two days for the delivery, and make a number of calls to get my mixer.

Thank you for your review, We only use a white glove 2 man delivery team for all of our deliveries enabling us to offer customers an unusually low return rate with the products we sell. For your postcode , we only have certain available days per week . While we apologise for the slightly slower service than you expected. We are sure you will love your product

Sorry to hear your feelings in this matter are not happy, but having spoken to you this morning on the matter. The tap you ordered was wrongly chosen by yourself , we would have offered a full refund on delivery back to us by yourself or we charge a small amount for our couriers to collect the tap which is what happen in this instant .

Purchased CDA Wine Chiller on line no problem. Delivery company were to contact me to confirm a delivery date which did not happen, I was sent a text Thursday telling me they were delivering on the Friday which was no suitable as I was away, I contacted the delivery company to postpone the delivery to the following Friday. Waited in on the Friday, No delivery. Contacted LEAC to complain about the NON DELIVERY. Item was delivered the following Friday

Hi Mr Griffiths, I have looked into this matter and confirm that there was a human error made when the date was changed, This is extremely rare and intend to make sure this wont happen again and am sorry that it happen .

Reasonably priced SMEG cooker. The guys who delivered were lovely and got the cooker into the kitchen. Unfortunately, were 1hour 45mins late in delivering - had to rearrange work.
