“Excellent excellent service! My fridge arrived in time and well packed, brought by two lovely guys who helped me position it in the kitchen. It was easy to order it online and to organise delivery I spoke to the nicest person on the phone, who agreed to deliver it exactly the day I needed. I highly recommend this company and would use it again.”

“Although the appliance we wanted was not on show we found the staff very helpful and more importantly they knew what they were talking about. We will definitely use them again, and will recommend them to anyone.”

“I cannot give enough praise to this company especially Michael, who not only price matched the oven bought for my daughter but saved my granddaughters birthday as it enabled her mum to bake the birthday cake she was promised. Well done team, only wish all purchasing experiences were as pleasant as this one. Will keep your company in mind for future purchases.”

“Very efficient and friendly ordering service. Bit disappointed that there was no second attempt to contact me when oven ready for delivery. First contact failed and I had to contact you, some 3 weeks after item was ready for delivery. Actual delivery then very good but superficial damage to oven. You responded immediately to arrange for Bosch Engineer to replace damaged part.”

“Service Review: I'd never heard of Long Eaton before, but I would almost make them my first port of call in the future. I called because the price wasn't on the website, and spoke to Michael. It's so refreshing to deal with someone as lovely, helpful and efficient as he was. The ordering was made easy, he chased a supplier to check stock and called me back within minutes, and the delivery process was a dream - Michael gave me a day and told me who it would be with, they called the day before to arrange a time slot, and then the delivery guys called again 15 minutes before they arrived. Love, love, love Long Eaton! Product Review - Smeg Alba copper 1.5 kitchen sink: I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. It's more of a rose gold colour, to be honest, but it's still quite pretty. It's also not as reflective as I was hoping. Oddly, the drainers are really reflective and are exactly the tone and finish that I was after, so I'm not quite sure what's happened there. That being said, I'm thrilled the drainers/waste kit were included, as those didn't feature on the listing anywhere and I was going to have to hide the cost (£40+ each!) of sourcing them separately from the Old Man! Another surprise, is that there is a pre-drilled tap hole that also isn't indicated on any of the images, specifications, product descriptions, installation diagrams etc...unless I missed something. As it happens, we'll just mount the tap there, but we were hoping to have the option of sink mount or deck mount. I might have been really annoyed if we were dead-set on deck mounting that tap. Like I said, I might very well have missed something on the listing, so no worries really. Or perhaps, if you're in the trade, a lot of these things are obvious, but not to the average consumer. A very good experience overall.”

“Helpful, best prices, tip top sales team. After having a helish experience with a different online electrical retailer it was a pleasure to speak to Lomg Eaton, my desired cooker wasn’t easily available but Micheal from the sales team went out of his way to source it from a manufacturer and had it delivered just in time for Christmas . All I had to do was choose my item and they did the rest with zero hassle. Can’t speak highly enough of this retailer”

“Efficient service and competitive prices from the team. The product I had picked had been superseded but the guys led me in the right direction. They kept me informed at every step. The only quibble was that they ordered the newer model before I had actually okayed it. Still, happy with the product though.”

“Contacted by phone the recipient was very courteous and helpful. Good communications through to delivery day and items arrived on the date promised within the time range provided. All in all excellent service provided. Cooker and hood yet to be installed but appear pristine.”
