“Needing a full building survey, I turned to Google and found Local surveyors direct. The responders I had were excellent, professional in appearance and relevant. I selected one (not the cheapest) and instructed. This is a good service”

“The information was received promptly but I really wanted quotes for a Homebuyers Report with valuation so the quotes I received were not appropriate for me. I did not realise that the quotes would only be for Building Surveys. Perhaps this should have been made clearer on your website?”

“I found the local surveyor service very good. It was easy to use, reasonably quick to get a surveyor to site. Because of the findings, I did not purchase the property surveyed which could have been an expensive mistake!”

“I came across Local Surveyors Direct when I was doing a search for something related to my planning application. I filled in my details because I had absolutely no idea where to get help with a difficult case; I had already contacted two land solicitors and one architect but none even bothered to reply. I got an email from Lewis at Resi within an hour, and an offer of a free telephone consultation the next day, which is exactly what I need, from someone with expertise who knows my local area. Very impressed, thankyou.”

“I wanted a survey done of shower leak and broken ceiling and everyone from this site wanted a minimum of £400. At least £60 cheaper to call firms directly I have found.”

“I went on the website but left blank what I required to be advised on. Instead of getting a message back asking what my requirement was ( or "please fill in requirements" message ) I got messages from local surveyors direct offering me a house electrical check for £180 and various other irrelevant replies. The website should have asked what I wanted to enquire about rather than just sending me random emails of no relevance to me. Very poor website.”

“The reason for only scoring a poor was the lack of response, i only received one company who at least contacted me and was prepared to visit my home to supply me with a quote. the other companies didn't have the decency to reply to my requests. Companies who can't take the time to reply, should never be in business, i am well aware they can be busy and unable to take any more work, but there will come a time when work will become slack.”
