“I would have given 5 stars for the initial email stating local surveyors, however I was not expecting to be bombarded with emails and phone calls immediately after, because of this I will not be contacting any of the people on the list, it was my intention to contact surveyors in my own time, not to be hounded in this way!”

“1. No proper public surveyor rating system. The system that is there seems like its at the control of the surveyor. 2. The people that give quotes on this system could be people that have been thrown out of RICS or other industry schemes, its totally up to the user to find this out. 3. The quotes given can mean nothing as some surveyors say that they need to discuss your particular requirements to give a proper quote. Given all these points, this is really nothing more than a classified ads listing.”

“The web site was easy to use and although my EPC survey hasn't been done yet Local Surveyors Direct was a quick way of finding the contact details of Energy Assessors in my area. The price comparison was very useful and the advice included on the web site regarding the suitability and qualifications of the assessors was good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I thought I wouldbe contacting the assessors from the information given, however, I got several phone calls directly from some of the assesors that were listed. I would certainly use Local Surveyors Direct again.”

“good website, but maybe too much contact afterwards. i got 4 emails and a phone call. it actually put me off using anyone from the list. it felt like a lead generator for surveyors that havent got enough work.”

“A really quick and easy way to obtain quotes for valuations. Received a really useful email with 5 quotes along with the full cobtact details of the firm. The quotes I received were very useful and informative (example reports were enclosed) with one being received on the Sunday I submitted my request! Would definitely recommend. 5 ?????”
