“Thank You for the service. It was useful to get some local contact points. Some replied very quickly and others took a bit of time. Being able to read previous reviews on various surveyors was very useful. We made a short list and were persuaded by the speed of one particular surveyor's response. Buying a house is a very long, drawn out procedure and it's nice to know that there are some professionals out there that are keen to act as quickly as we are.”

“Found a number of surveyors but the estimated fees were inaccurate. In every case the estimated fees were a lot lower than those quoted by the surveyors.”

“I found the site to be very useful in that it forwarded my enquiry to a number of potential suppliers. The reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that two of the suppliers were quite far away from my address and none appeared to have read the supplementary information I gave in my enquiry.”

“Very efficient and quick to respond. Only issue I had was when the assessor came to my property he didn’t take his shoes off and walked in every room with his shoes. Was quite annoying.”

“We were seeking an Arobocultural Survey of our trees and were put in contact with a number of providers. Some were good, some were expensive but we identified what we wanted. We were not impressed with the automated non-personal set-up of Local Surveyors Direct, particularly when the request for this feedback was directed at " Dear London, You recently used our website Local Surveyors Direct to find suppliers in your area. “Didn't know where to start looking, put in search local. Local surveyors came up with a number of surveyors all who responded very quickly. I am working through all the literature. Would recommend.”

“We were provided with a number of surveyor's details with an estimate of the likely costs involved with obtaining a home buyers electrical safety report. The estimate was £99 but cost was actually £120 plus vat. This still seemed reasonable and the company's reviews were good so have hired them to do the job. Will now wait and see how it all turns out.”
