Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“Mr R J Bevan was most obliging and even came out on the bank holiday at no extra cost. The fault was found quickly and corrected. We have also given Mr Bevan a deposit for another job.”

“I've just used Local Surveyors Direct as I wanted to find recommended Surveyors in my area for a Building Survey. Through the web site I was contacted by all the identified surveyors and was then able to narrow down to one specific one. It takes the initial leg work out of searching for a Surveyor. I would definitely use this Web Site again when the time comes.”

“It's good to get quotes for comparison. However, I am not sure it is good to inform the companies before I have a chance to read and compare. Some of them called me before I read your email result! Others followed up everyday. Very disruptive! Otherwise, it would have been a very useful tool.”

“The surveyor we found off the website, Philip Milne of H.I.C.H, promised things he clearly had no intention of delivering. Since he got my money he does not answer my calls. Whoops, there goes £400. Feels like a scam to me.”

Hi - thanks for your comments on the Supplier you found on our website. We take Customer complaints very seriously and always investigate and take the appropriate action. I can confirm that in the case of this particular Supplier, we removed his listing from our websites in May 2019 and his details are no longer being given to Customers. I appreciate this does not help your situation, but I hope it gives you some reassurance.
