“I very rapidly received a deluge of calls and emails. Ultimately I chose to contact 4 who were fairly local and received quotes from all by the end of the day. A little more research to do, but this is certainly a very efficient service.”

“Not impressed at all. I used the site to just get a rough idea of what it would cost. However a number of companies immediately started emailing me to quote for the job. It was not made clear that this would happen. As far as I'm aware my email address was given just to receive the results of my search. I found this very intrusive and if I do need to hire one I will not hire any of the ones that emailed me.”

“The site is very useful in finding suppliers in local areas. The only down side is that the price advertised on site doesn't match what the assessor charges. The assessor charges more..!!”

“Instead of showing you quotes, they will send your email to all the surveyors and you will end up with like 40 emails and phonecalls. Its a supremely stupid system.”

“As it is many years since we last moved I was interested to know how much a property condition report would be. I had not realised that you would be passing my details immediately to so many surveyors who would contact me. For the moment at least I'm afraid their time has been wasted. It would had been helpful if there had been an option to withhold my information.”

I had a response from one of them very quickly so it saved me from having to spend time ringing around.
