“It certainly finds lots of suitable people, in my case, architects with a view to designing a double garage. The UNFORTUNATE aspects are these... 1) The site doesn't work properly with Firefox, as there is no "Next box" after you upload images. 2) I would prefer a list of people for me to call, rather than be called as it can be upsetting putting the 3rd and 4th caller off. Other than the above which are technical and Administrative issues... A good resource for finding those who you need.”

“After I had submitted my details, I had a phone call from a gentleman called Germaine who said he could do my EPC. I presumed this was a response to my request on your site. The gentleman came, completed what we thought was the assessment and was paid £37.50. He said he would forward it on to us via email. We never received this and, when I checked, he had withheld his phone number. He came in a white van and parked around the corner. I wondered how he could access your site if he was not genuine? We should have been more careful. We requested another EPC. This time, the EPC assessor (Matt Fay) was excellent - punctual, professional and informative.”

“I got calls within minutes of me posting on the website. If anything it was too intense Ihad so many companies contacting me so quickly by phone. I would of preferred a response by e-mail so that I could look through the responses in my own time.”

“Prices varied enormously for the same job! Why would you pay £200more. Why not just go for the cheapest. Do you get what you pay for? A high priced surveyor then offered the lowest price. Clever tactics or what. Interesting.”

“The response was extremely fast, in fact it was too fast - I received a phone call while I was still looking at the web page. I would have preferred time to read the site. Maybe at least a 10 minute delay just to give a chance to absorb the information. In fact I would have preferred to make contact myself.”

“You gave me names and contact details of 5 surveyors. Two replied directly on applying to your site. This was only 24 hours ago. At the moment I am looking at which surveyor best meets my needs and whose price is the most reasonable. It will take a few days to decide.”
