“the caller said he would ring back at 1. he didn't ring until 3.15. he got the details wrong several times including the property name and post code. his excuse was that Monday is a very busy day but it was in fact Tuesday. I was unhappy with the service and accuracy.”

“Whilst I think that this type of website service is good I have to say that the surveyor I used from the list supplied, was a pretty rubbish experience for me.”

“Avoid this service. I signed up for four quotes from local surveyors, but instead I’ve received over a week of surveyor companies calling me, texting me, and emailing me. Too much spam. I won’t be using this service again.”

“We chose Helen Davies of Looe to do our Housebuyers' survey and were not at all impressed. To start she seemed really keen, ringing us at 7 pm and promptly sending the necessary paperwork for us to sign and a cheque for the full amount of her fee before she started. She promised that she could start the following week, but in the even didn't carry out the survey for several weeks. Her biggest let down is lack of communication, she just doesn't respond to calls and emails which is very frustrating. We had particularly asked her to report on two specifics, which to be fair she did, but despite inviting us to contact her if we wanted more clarification, when we did she totally ignored us and we have not heard from her since. The whole affair very much felt like a take the money and run scenario. The survey itself we didn't feel was totally accurate and we got the impression that she had done a very cursory job. I would definitely NOT recommend this Surveyor.”

“Very poor. In the survey it stated some things that were incorrect, also in the letter we were asked if we had any questions to ask the surveyor. We asked a few and never got a reply.”

“Waste of time getting it done, will never do it again. Basically fib you off saying get and expert in etc so what’s the point in having the survey is beyond me. Missed that the whole house needed rewiring and the walls were falling apart.”

“I was given a choice of 5 in my area (one of which was actually from 60 miles away!!) and i contacted all of them and only one bothered to contact me back. This was a really poor service and I will not use it again”

“The surveyor I was passed onto wasn't trying cheapest by any means and had nothing but headaches. Were absolutely fantastic and very communicative....until they got the cash in the bank then it was like thry couldn't care less! Will be staying off comparison sites in future an sticking to recommended tradesmen”

“Very over priced and upon trying to negotiate a better price one of the companies - RBC Surveyors (R & B Consultancy Ltd) threw their toys out the pram and withdrew their quotations altogether. I used GavaghanJones Surveyors Ltd in the end - they were very good and very well priced.”
