“We used FP Surveying via this platform. They are a terrible company for you to have on your platform. Here is a review for them: FP Surveying Review: Avoid They advertise the cheapest prices, granted but they are unable to deliver the agreed services so the cheapness doesn't matter. We agreed to the dates they could do the survey on if not before those dates (ie the latest dates). I spoke to them on the phone to confirm while I paid online on the link they sent on the call. Then true to many other reviews here the service stops once they have the money. They are very salesly and keen to just get the money in rather than a surveyor booked in. They pushed the dates back by more than an extra week beyond the latest agreed dates. This was unacceptable for us as they already knew and we made clear at time of booking. If this is how the business operates just to get a survey booked in then I can only imagine how bad the survey itself may have been. My recommendation to people reading this is to just pay the market rate for a good survey done on time rather chancing it with FP Surveying below market rates who mess about and can risk a property purchase falling through. Full refund requested.”

“The site was so simple to use providing a lot of information enabling me to choose a surveyor. We chose GTA surveyors and we made a good choice. They were so friendly and helpful and in constant communication with us. Our level 3 survey date was booked promptly. Our surveyor, Glen, gave us a full comprehensive report covering all aspects and followed this with a informal phone call covering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would use as again.”

“Unfortunately, my experience with Chris Humphreys found through this website was extremely disappointing. The survey itself was carried out on 30 July, but the report was repeatedly promised and not delivered. I was given several specific commitments for when the report would be provided, all of which were missed. Attempts to contact Chris by telephone and message were frequently unanswered, and communication was extremely poor throughout. The report was eventually provided only after I made it clear that I would escalate the matter formally. Whilst the report itself was detailed in places, I also found a number of issues with its content. A building on the property was omitted from the report, and it referred to gas appliances despite the property being oil-heated and not having the gas appliances referred to. I was also surprised that the report contained no photographs at all. Based on previous property surveys, I would have expected photographs to support and illustrate the findings, particularly where defects or areas of concern are identified. Overall, the quality of communication, reliability in meeting commitments left me very dissatisfied with the service provided. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using Chris Humphreys and would strongly advise prospective customers to consider alternative surveyors”

“Local building surveyors made it super easy & quick to find me someone to do my survey. I provided all the information on Wednesday night, Thursday morning I had several companies contact me with quotes & I managed to book a company for the Friday! Using this site made it super quick & easy, I would highly recommend!!! All the companies that contacted me were certified by RICS which was very important to me too”

“Only one of five were actually in my area. We used them, they were the cheapest but also provided the biggest comprehensive report. The issue was many were travelling miles and charging for it, rather than the report. That is my perception I may be wrong but you asked.”
