“We hired CozeyHomes conduct a full structural survey, and they gave a very detailed and comprehensive report with lots of details that helped up to avoid large costs in the future and make a smart decision about an older property. We were promised a callback, to speak directly to the surveyor But he never called back this was disappointing as we paid a lot of money for the service and we had a lot of questions about the report but know one to ask.”

“You could not provide LOCAL surveyors and they were only listed as regulated by RICS. No matter what I put down I could not make it clear that the matter was not a house purchase survey.”

“I didn't expect to be deluged by calls, e-mails and texts, let alone requests for reviews long before I have had a chance to commission a survey. At least I did get a lot of contacts.”

“It took a while for any response and that was after two attempts of logging an enquiry. The estimated cost was well out of range of an actual quote. I question the accuracy of using the online estimations.”

“Following completion of the basic facts I only received 1 or 2 quotes and both of them seemed a little low in price for a full level 3 survey compared to the quotes I obtained for myself. NTB had the courtesy to follow up with some candid comments and a timescale and we exchanged emails so I’m grateful to them for taking the time to do so. However, I went with another company that I’d sourced myself and had consultancy expertise in a specialist area I was looking for. Whilst their quote was significantly higher, I feel more confident they will provide a good quality report within a reasonable timeframe.”

“One of the 2 valuers suggested on follow up advised they weren't able to offer any appointments. The second valuer offered a lower price than quoted but due to demand they are unable to survey the property until 5 weeks after they were appointed. I am unable to offer any further comments at this stage.”

“i used Local Building Surveyors to locate a company to request a RICS Builders' Survey. The site promptly provided the information of one firm local to my new property. I requested a quote, which was acceptable. However, due to COVID-19, all firms in the area were very busy. I booked a survey from the company LBS provided, and due to a cancellation the original date offered was brought forward. I yet await the competion of the survey.”

“Easy to use and straightforward to get an idea of pricing; I got two quotes - with and without valuation. This website itself is fine. As to the subscribed surveyors - that's another story; most reasonably priced messed me about for a week on basis of one email per day response and didn't give me method of payment when I asked twice! Next two didn't respond or follow up, most expensive sent me 5 auto emails in 24 hours only to tell me the auto-quote was probably overpriced, send X Y Z and we'll get you a proper quote - still too expensive. Went with another comparison site and got a surveyor booked the same day who are already in touch with vendor agents.”
