“Information via the website was useful. Less useful was trying to get the two recommended surveyors to respond to phonecalls/emails. In the end I used neither of them. One because they weren't interested, the other because they were too expensive.”

“Absolutely terrible customer service. They agree to carry out work, site visits, calculations and drawings for a set fee, all agreed in writing, and then don't supply you what you've paid for. Happy to take your money, just not happy to do the work. Not only do you not get the structural drawings, but the report you do get is poorly written with so many spelling mistakes and poor fluency that you can't actually use the report. Avoid this company at all costs.”

“terrible site. Trying to buy a bungalow in Cromer. Asked for structural survey- -no surveyors available in the postcode then a Homebuyers report, again no surveyor in this postcode. Complete waste of time using this site!”

“Web site was easy to use with a good choice of surveyors covering the area we required. The surveyor used was Routledge & Routledge. Booking the survey was straightforward and the process fully explained professionally. Phil the surveyor provided a thorough level 2 survey report and was also readily available to discuss it with us to explain any areas which we were concerned about. Happy with the service we received and would recommend them.”

“4 were quotes all about the same but one was £125 cheaper than the rest but when i contacted them they quoted £125 more than the estimate online so that was unfortunately a wasted excercise”

“The process for entering the requisite information was clear and easy to follow. However, this only provided me with two quotes (which were miles apart in terms of cost) so it was difficult to gauge value for money from this. That said, I did browse the website for the more realistically priced option and we're now booked in and awaiting the survey. The communication and process surrounding this - using Local Building Surveyors website tool - was good. I'd be happy to share more once I receive the report i.e. whether or not this lives up to expectations for a Local Building Surveyor recommendation.”
