“Distinctly dodgy. The surveyor company who quoted for us had a 5 star review on the local building surveyors site- but it was only one and clearly dubious- it matched the description of the sample survey we were sent by the company- but the date on the review was several days before the date on the sample survey. The company registered at companies house had only been registered a few months and had one director- who was not a surveyor. I wouldn't touch them.”

“Whilst the website was easy to use we only got one result which I understand may have been due to some companies not wishing to take on work during the second lockdown but the one result never contacted us after we emailed them to ask about engaging them to do the survey. In the end I had to use google search to find and contact alternative companies”

“The company that was first on the list were shocking. Quick to respond initially and then I couldn’t get to speak to them after that. Went with solicitor recommendation in the end. More expensive but great service”

“Really good service, it made the process of finding a surveyor so much easier. We used Red Fox surveyors, and Jerry was brilliant, got back to me the same day, answered all of my questions and the survey was completed within five days and we had a really comprehensive report. Would highly recommend them”

“We were told by our agent that surveys were not being undertaken or delayed so we contacted Local Building Surveyors and we had 3 quick responses. We asked all companies for examples and GNP surveys came back within minutes with very detailed RICS reports and a large photograph record. They undertook the survey in 2 days and we had the report 2 days afterwards. The detail and help we received was excellent and we were able to chat through the report with the surveyor who is so transparent and so knowledgeable on defects and how to remedy them. Very happy especially as we thought we would not get a surveyor before Xmas. Thankyou Max”
