“Had quick response from three surveyors. Chose one and booked a survey only to have it cancelled (fully understand) due to Coronavirus”

“Response from a number of surveyors was quick, however, I engaged a surveyor who said she could do the job at a reasonable price in a short time. Since then I have been unable to seek to her, she does not return my telephone calls or E-mails. Very poor service.”

“I used the website to find Building Surveyors for a detailed survey of a prospective purchase and have chosen to appoint the most-local of the four companies that it listed. Theirs was also the lowest fee.”

“Local building surveyors provided a short list of certified surveyors and quotations from them. Enough were provided to allow some choice, but not so many that you do not know where to start.”

“I contacted a company to arrange for a survey on a bungalow. Unfortunately the vendor withdrew from the sale so the appointment was cancelled. I will certainly use the same surveyors when we find another bungalow.”

“Really good full structural building survey - comprehensive and lots of photos. Had to keep chasing the report because the surveyor was very busy with other surveys but the end result was worth the wait. Be mindful of this if you need a speedy result to stress it from the outset. Would definitely recommend.”

“I received a phone call from the company and they were able to advise me on the best type of survey for my needs. They were very helpful and professional, even though it transpired I didn't actually need their services after all.”

“We had a full survey done and the report was very comprehensive. Although we knew the date the survey was taking place, it would have been courteous to inform us that the surveyor had been without me having to check and also I had to phone and ask when the report would be sent as we had to wait a week for it. Overall happy with survey and cost.”
