“I was provided with a list of surveying companies, who I then researched and engaged Swift home surveys. They have completed a report on my prospective purchase and I am very satisfied with the result.”

“The web site was simple to use and produced a list of potential surveyors, however the majority of sites appeared to be companies brokering the services of other surveyors. I eventually found a self employed surveyor who did a good job.”

“The site was easy to use and I received almost instant responses from surveyors.However with hindsight I should have waited as I went with the company that contacted me and first and over the phone sounds reasonable and knowledgeable which unfortunately was not the case. Despite explaining the details of the property they decided that I was wrong and that the property was of the 30's (1954), a conversion (purpose built as evidence by others in the road), couldn't tell me date of windows (all UPVC windows have dates on them) and a few other smaller issues. I will not use them again.”

“We were looking for a surveyor to carry out a building survey on my son’s first house . We did not know one so we used this search engine . It provided quotes for 4 local surveyors . We chose one of them and that’s it .Process was easy and effective”

“It was very helpful to have this resource as without it I wouldn’t have known where to start. It helped me understand the different types of survey available (I needed a fairly simple one for probate purposes) and gave me 3-4 surveyors to choose from. I opted for a reasonably priced survey as I didn’t need anything complicated. It was done by FP Surveyors. I had to chase a couple of times and it wasn’t clear that they didn’t operate at weekends. But the final survey was clear and helpful so no complaints on that front. I would use them again.”

“Quick responses and competitive pricing supported by informative back-up. Only issue was that responses came from regional rather than local organisations. That being said, the only local quote, procured by other means, turned out to be over 20% more expensive. Changed crcumstances meant that no appointment was made. All respondents were notified.”

“This site was very easy to use and three surveyors were suggested, two of whom replied almost immediately offering their services. Unfortunately our purchase fell through when we were gazumped so we are not in a position to appoint a surveyor until we find another suitable property to but. This is obviously not a fault of Local Building Surveyors who very good and are to be recommended.”

“This was a good site for first time and previous buyers and sellers. It's good to know the details and differences of each tier . I was able to contact a few surveyors but eventually I used a surveyor that was recommended.”

“3 quotes provided. However, the cheapest said the site had quoted incorrectly and their quote immediately jumped by nearly 50%- disappointing”
