“Good service when you need a surveyor. Input your requirements and details town of property and start to receive quotes from surveyors. A number of replies were from surveyors much further away than the town where the property I was interested in is located Had an email dialogue with 3 surveyors re their quote and availability and a follow-up telephone conversation with the favourite who was contracted for the survey. Paul Stratful Associates who were fairly local, competitively priced and did a very comprehensive Level 2 Building Survey as requested with the full report (& invoice) arriving on the evening of the day the survey was performed. All very impressive.”

“Got some results back, including one with an estimate of £190. Eventually charged £300+vat. However, the surveyors conduct was fine. Are estimates just a way to get to the front of the queue and then charge whatever they like?”

“Identified 3 options in the area I was looking at, all RICS recognised. Portal confirmed contact details and cost estimates for different types of survey. I sent an enquiry to all 3 companies, 2 of which never responded (despite me following up with phone calls). 3rd and selected company very efficient and survey arranged.”
