“Good interface, and all three surveyors who 'quoted' via the platform subsequently contacted me. Obviously these three were only a very small part of the pool of local surveyors, however”

“The survey was completed in very very good time with a phone call and verbal feedback the same day with the written report by e-mail the next day. The reason for the 'good' has to do with my, possibly misplaced, expectations, I thought a structural survey would be more invasive and I still don't know what insulation was used as it is crucial for a mortgage on a timber-framed house. Thank you for doing the survey.”

“Rapid search with useful basic information. Most surveyors identified were not local and I didn't use any of them. However communication with the surveyors was good and they were all happy to come to my location if commissioned.”

“This is a great service, easy to use and very competitive prices from surveyors within 30miles of address. Offers were all from RICS certified surveyors although one service was purporting to offer a structural survey when actually it was only a homebuyer survey so buyers beware ask questions! Tried to get quotes from local surveyors and they couldn’t even be bothered to quote so would definitely use this service again!”

“Seemed to do a professional job but the 'local' bit was a nonsense as the valuer came from Liverpool and the property is in Walsall 80+miles away. How would he know the local market?”

“I was pleased with the report by Cartwright Hands. Their surveyor found defects which we had not discovered. As a result of his investigation and recommendation on the value of the bungalow, we decided to withdraw our offer and look for another property in South Warwickshire. We are sure he has saved us a lot of problemsand finance. Many thanks for his help.”

“A bit of a "Compare the market" for surveyors. It is a good site avoiding the endless phoning around to find a surveyor. My only small criticism is that after checking reviews and choosing a surveyor the only dates eventually available and were for a date we are aiming to complete our move. As the survey was a homebuyers we decided to abandon the survey and ask a local reputable builder to give his opinion. I would not advise going for a house without a survey but the only things I was really worried about would have returned as an advice to have it checked by an expert and I saved the money by using a friend who is 50+ years in the building trade.”
