“The website and booking of the appointment was smooth and easy to arrange. The report was disappointing, not easy to extract the important facts amongst the waffle, lacked hard evidence and was a series of cut and paste standard paragraphs and 'get out' clauses.”

“Rating not applicable as service not used ... We found surveyors easily on your site but also had a couple of other names locally and chose one of them after a television conversation, we would have chosen one of yours if we had not received alternative surveyors. Thank you, A, W,”

“One of the surveyors who provided a quote - James McLachlan promised to phone me back as the person I needed to speak to was on the phone -they never bothered ! Have gone with Your Survey, waiting for a date from them so can't comment on them yet”

“I wanted a re-build cost for insurance purposes , and managed to get one on-line which my insurance company accepted . I will get a homebuyers survey done later . Living hundreds of miles from the property , I appreciated being put in contact with local surveyors , and will certainly consider them when I want a survey . Many thanks for your help , BK.”

“You get one price instantly, but then over the next couple of hours it seems all the companies email you with different prices which are cheaper. I think this is to do with including and not including the price for a valuation. Either way I went ahead with what I thought was the best quote, only to find an email later with a cheaper one so this was a bit annoying.”

“Awaiting results from a building survey which was carried out on 15th February. Today is 17th March, still no survey report sent, despite contacting surveyor on many occasions via email and phone (paid upfront for survey). Doesn't fill me with a huge amount of confidence at present with reliability of surveyor.”

“the only disappointing thing is the survey report was very vaugue. There was a lot of languegysuch as could be, possible showing signs of and such language. When you get a survey people want more direction rather than having to pay out again for more opinions. The survey made great play on a POSSIBLE MAJOR FAULT with the drainage system we layer an extra £170 for the drainage company to tell us not sure whey it says that in the report it looks fine. After the inspection the engineer stated everything was in perfect order.”

“I was surprised that the carpets could not be lifted as I had paid for a structural survey instead of the Homebuyers survey, as another surveyor who looked at my property said a structural survey meant that you could lift the carpets and have good look at what was going on. I might just as well have saved money by having the cheaper survey.”

“We found that not all surveyors listed on your website were able to take on our work of a survey for house purchase. We turned to some comparison websites with more success. JB”

“The Surveyors that I called that were listed didn't do Structural reports which what was required even though they were registered with the correct body. so was not really any help. However, they were polite and advised onwards.”

“Potentially a helpful service, but I found the follow-ups very zealous and intrusive, almost hounding. Within about 2 seconds of submitting my request I got a call asking me if I'd looked at the quote and trying to persuade me to book, and within about 15 minutes I started getting hectored by several others by email and phone, none of whom were local. So did not end up using someone from the site”
