“After shopping around for ages and not being happy with with flimsy-framed bunks elsewhere (including at high-end stores), I bought bunk beds from here for my girls. Absolutely solid, well-made, lovely looking beds. Absolutely delighted with them! I don’t usually write reviews but even two years on I can’t fault these! No creaks, nothing. I am writing this review as I recently moved house and through no fault of the company I split one side of the base of the bed when dismantling (was dropped). I called up to ask if there were any spare parts as I love the beds so much, I didn’t want to replace them. Oh my goodness- the after sales service is absolutely FIVE STARS! Not a problem, the gentleman was more concerned with making the bed safe for my children as the side was a supporting structure. Not a problem to help me, spare parts were made and sent out quickly at a very decent cost. Put it all together yesterday- absolutely perfect. Can’t thank this company enough. If you want beautiful but safe beds for your children from safe hands - this is the place to buy! I wish everywhere sold a product this good and the service before and after sale is just excellent! 100% recommended!!!”

“Fantastic customer care. Can always get a human at the end of the phone, usually Chris who has been super helpful. Have a very small room so was concerned the bunk beds with trundle wouldn't fit but he assured me it would after many chats and said if it didn't he would refund no problem. . Delivery was super quick and they arranged someone to assemble the next working day. I love the bunk beds they feel sturdy and the mattresses look great. Have yet to use it but am very happy so far! K”

“We ordered a single ‘Buddy’ daybed with trundle from Barker & Stonehouse which was supplied by this company which lists it as a beech day bed. At no point was it indicated that this item is flat pack and requires full self assembly - had we known we would never have ordered it, unless it had come with an assembly service. The Little Folks website states it is ‘minimal self assembly’. It is not, it has been a major job to put the bed together (haven’t even started on the trundle yet which has a huge number of fittings for what is effectively a box on wheels). It was very difficult to put the bed together, even for 2 people to try and balance and hold all the parts together while it is secured plus 34 screws to just hold the mattress base in place. It has also left us with a car full of cardboard packing and polystyrene (not very eco friendly) to take to the tip, having come in 5 boxes. Now it’s up the bed does look nice though I hope it will be robust enough for grandchildren to use as a sofa as well as a bed as the back supports do not feel that robust and give when leant back on. I’m also hoping that the trundle section is strong enough to be pulled out regularly when grandchildren sleepover.”

All of our bed frames are made from solid hardwoods, and the Classic day bed frame is made from carefully selected solid Beech. – Hopefully this reassures you that it is a robust bed. In terms of assembly services, we have assembly options that are available to book at the point of purchase on our website for customers who wish to do so, as unfortunately we cannot supply any of our beds pre-assembled. “We ordered a kids midsleeper bed. It arrived quickly and was delivered by the team, right to my daughters bedroom. Sadly, when we put it together we discovered the wrong ladder stays had be packaged. I contacted Little Folks and they couriered out the correct parts, which we had the next day. Great service. Good bed.”

“This is by far the easiest experience I have ever had ordering furniture. I ordered the high sleeper with futon chair, desk and desk chair, and fully expected to wait months for such a niche product at a time when lots of deliveries were subject to delays, but our bed was delivered a few days later and assembled within a few days after delivery. Little Folks customer service was very helpful at every step, via email and over the phone. We're also really happy with the bed itself.”

“10 days after ordering a bed there is no sign of it even being despatched let alone delivered. customer services just give false assurances about when it would be sent and then don't bother sending it or updating you. Can't provide despatch date. Seems to be a con.”

“Abysmally unresponsive to customers. dont bother. abysmally slow at responding to emails with product enquiry in. Despite reservations i decided to go ahead and place an order because i really liked the product. However same problem, had to re-email to get a quote, and then when agreed to place order,no one ever came back to me on it. Therefore placed order with another company and they lost the sale.”

Dear Caro We are very sorry that we were unable to provide a solution for you this time, but as advised in our first communication together, we do not have a satisfactory delivery service for Ireland without the risk of transit damage – especially when it involves fully assembled furniture which was what you were originally looking for. We did try to find a way around this and for the various different enquires you made, but in the end we assumed you did not wish to proceed and now understand that you had found another supplier who could deliver to Ireland. In time as our business grows, we hope to be able to manage to find a way to deliver to Ireland, but currently we can only apologise that we were unable to find an appropriate solution for you. “Bed went together beautifully. Trundle had some flaws. Cam holes were not cleaned out properly so I had to finish off drilling & the quality or spec of screws to secure the base was incorrect. They weren't self tapping and really soft so I had to drill pilot holes. Also the drilled holes were not countersunk so surely they'll catch the mattress as they don't fit flush”
