A lot of Minerva mouldings have been discontinued or are out of stock so I'm afraid I'm struggling with placing orders now.

More damaged moulding this week, just managed to complete the job cutting around the damaged areas. Ordered 2 lengths of moulding and could only get one side out of one length. Luckily ordered extra. Constant errors guy's over the past year or so, standards have DEFINATELY slipped.

correct goods delivered but I was not happy that they were delivered to the wrong address. They were sent to 37 Houghton Lane instead of 47 which is my address, my neighbour was away, so the parcel was put into a recycling bin where she found it on her return ,as she was about to put it out for emptying. disaster fortunately averted.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in the store. My only problem is with the quality of the mouldings. There does not seem to be any quality control. Mouldings are often damaged or marked in some way - particularly natural wood mouldings. I just collected a moulding last week and only realised half way through making a frame that there was a scratch on it (L087). As a result, there is a lot of wastage and therefore costly to the business. It would help if mouldings were wrapped with the click and collect service to prevent further damage. Another problem is that if you are making a large frame and want two lengths of natural wood moulding matching, you often open a wrapped pack to find that they don't match at all. Having said that, if you spot the problems in time, staff are always happy to swap the moulding and are always polite and helpful.

The staff on the counter are great - but recently I desperately need some framing tape and D rings. When I phoned up to order I was told a minimum of £30.00 for postal delivery and absolute refusal just to pop these items in the post!! Whilst I appreciate administrative rules have to apply, I was not happy at having to drive all the way up from South Wales just to pick these items up during a very busy time for me.

I wouldnt say I was happy !! its a barely acceptable service, nothing like what we had from the South depot before they closed it and now they are stopping their van delivery service - maybe they should do these survey's and get customer feedback prior to making any big changes

We're happy with the large choice of mouldings and sundries.Customer service generally good. Increasingly frustrated by the amount of moulding being delivered damaged (often with damage that should have been picked up prior to packing). Also, every order contains mouldings that are bent or twisted - unacceptable.

Lion are generally ok for purchasing framing consumables, where they let themselves down is on the packing and despatch of mount board which nearly always arrives damaged.

Minimum order to qualify for free delivery is too high, we would prefer to place smaller order more frequently at present we are more likely to order from other suppliers who offer the same products at slightly better price or regular customer discount and free delivery. Good range of useful products for framing business, also interesting products but it would be really great if your telephone salespeople had some technical or practical knowledge of items which you sell. We would like to try different products, for example archival tapes, maybe you could offer some free samples otherwise we have to buy a whole roll of something which may prove to be unsuitable and we never use it.

Just want to know where my delivery is! Stayed in most of Thursday and Friday, people probably think its judt an cexcuse. Need the mouldings forvmy show in 2 weeks.

You have very good customer-service. Your staff is polite and professional. I like that you have a very good and large stock. Last time I got a delivery, you packed the big and heavy things last: it crshed the oilbottle. When I opened the delivery, the goods were soaked in oil: wire, hanging things etc... Not good!

I can't fault the extensive range of picture framing products that are available-excellent. I don't like the constant price 'creep' that happens on many of the core items- there are occasions where items have increased on every occasion that I have re-ordered. I would be more inclined to use Lion more exclusively if the product range was subject to an annual price rise, in line with all the other suppliers I use. Now for the biggest issue with Lion- on 3 separate occasions over the last year I've had instances when ordering online and paying over £500 I've had charges on my account for up to 3 times the amount that should have been charged- on following this up with accounts I am told that this is a fault with the payment service provider- this is all well and good BUT it then takes 5 working days for the money to reappear in my account- which was then well into my overdraft!!! on the first occasion this happened I was told it was MY fault for pressing the 'complete transaction/purchase' button multiple times- this may well be the case as having pressed the button nothing happened to confirm that the payment had been made! Subsequently on my next order I then ensured that I only confirmed payment once-THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! My bank account was then left without the correct amount of money AGAIN! I rang accounts and was told that this can happen when transactions are over £500 and that it may be best to keep the order under £500 or do 2 separate orders!?! That must be your sales departments dream having accounts staff telling customers to reduce the amount they spend???? Next order-kept UNDER the £500 'threshold' same thing happened again- couldn't be bothered to ring again- just fed up with the hassle. CHANGE YOU ONLINE PAYMENT PROVIDER!

I do miss being able to browse and choose the hardware. When come in and order it takes an age too get served. When the counter guy gets back from the stores with the goods I feel obliged to purchase them, as he is not the most approachable chap.

Not very helpful when I wanted to have some items collected. As I pay when I collect I am regarded as a second class of customer. This is why I have chop kits done by another supplier.
