Thank you for your comments. All customers receive an email on despatch of their goods which includes a FedEx consignment tracking link which can be clicked on for a delivery update. In addition the Customer Care team will also happily provide updates on deliveries. I am sorry you appear to be somewhat disappointed with your purchase. Any item which does not meet a customers expectation can, as we state on our website and despatch paperwork, be returned under our "14 Day change Your Mind Guarantee" once it is as new. Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we have no record of any communication from you. All queries are addressed chronologically and comprehensively by the Customer Care team as rapidly as possible. The Alessandra Rise and Fall pendant relies upon the weight of the shade to be able to go up and down. To test whether or not the light is working correctly, please attach the shade to the holder as without it, the tension mechanism which holds the lamp in place will just spring straight back.
