“Sorry to give such a negative feed back,but, it?s more about the delivery service than lighting direct. When you leave off work early to receive a delivery which they arranged with a 1 hour slot, also made me late of a dinner appointment, finally realised they hadn?t even put my parcel on the van, it was still in the depot. (Tracked parcel). This alone using dpd would prevent me from using lighting direct again. This is not the first time, I nearly cancelled the original order when I saw dpd delivered by.”

“Only part of order arrived without explanation or info on when rest could be expected. Unable to get any contact with customer service by phone and response by email did not arrive after a week so get your act together. Both light bulbs although those specifically recommended for this fitting were unsuitable as although description matched they were non dimmable bulbs for a dimmable lamp. Your response to return and re-order and to deny anything amiss with the information given to customer is unacceptable. 2nd lamp finally arrived and seems pre-fitting which wont happen until Jan OK but box was pierced in several places.”

“Once I found what I wanted, the service was excellent. At first I couldn't find online what I required so I needed to email Lighting Direct and then it took 3 days for them to respond. Also the contact number was an expensive rate number (0845 if I recall) so I didn't want to call it. However once I received details of the product I needed, the process was very straightforward from then on. Amat I suggest the phone number is changed to a low call rate number. The product itself was perfect, just what I wanted.”

“A DPD delivery driver called Mechelle could not be bothered to find my house so I was kept in a day for nothing. Thank goodness James did a better job than she did. Lighting Direct did perfectly my order was on it's way quickly and was just as it should be.I was very pleased all round. Yes I will buy from them again.”

“Thank you ,yes there was a delay on my order and when I spoke to customer service they informed me that the delay was due to the GU10 bulbs being out of stock. I told them not a problem I have . The lights were dispatched and arrived with a couple of days. I certainly would use you again as you were recommended by my electrician”

“I bought a battery operated picture light that couldn?t be adjusted to shine on to the picture only into the room. It should have been checked before it was sent out. The delivery and returns policy was excellent. On the strength of that I will try an alternative light.”
