“Arrived quickly and well packed. Shades were great, however the connections were c@#p. Ended up replacing them, as they were nearly impossible to fit as they were.”

I am really sorry because of the way a PIR works the reflection from the glass below will cause interference and the PIR will not work as it should. The only way to resolve is to move the fitting to a different location or you could try coating the upper surface of the glass canopy with a matt frosted glass acrylic like you would have on a bathroon window? I am sorry there is no easy answer it is just the wrong type of fitting for this location. Regards Jayne Bates Customer Service Advisor

“Overall excellent product, however only opened after Christmas to inspect and one of the glass inserts has a crack down the centre of it. It looks like it has been over tightened at manufacturing stage with the small "clamp" like screw fixing Not spoken to after sales yet on this”

“Reasonably quick delivery. One unit had a slightly bent mounting plate and coincidentally the same unit has been slightly unreliable so I?m monitoring the installation. Not sure it?s Lighting Directs fault though so I?d use them again.”

I am sure it was disappointing that the bulbs you chose on line were not suitable for the application you intended them for. As stated on our website we encourage customers to give our technical team a ring for guidance if they have any questions or queries regarding requirements. With regard to the bulbs that you dont intend to use, they can be returned under our "14 Day Change You Mind Guarantee" once they are in their original packaging. “Having to return a Tronco tall bollard light as it wasn't anthracite colour but a shade of light grey. Customer Services were helpful in looking at a different anthracite light bollard and I was told it was a similar shade of grey which was disappointing. However I've ordered one, it's an Edit Norin, and it's a much closer match to anthracite which is the name of RAL7016 colour. If you need anthracite then be careful.”

“No problems, so therefore I assume a good, reliable delivery service. I had unmatched batteries (2 Duracell and one GP Alkaline) and the light flickered quite a lot which I remedied by placing a rectangle of cardboard between the batteries and the back-plate to increase pressure on the contact points. I still get the odd bit of flicker which is slightly worrying but am preparing to buy more from Lighting Direct as the product exactly fits my needs.”
