“First, I never tick the extremes. You can always get better...or worse. The corner wall lights were delivered very quickly and were soon installed, but not with the screws supplied. The screws and plasplugs were not matched. I was not happy that a condition of returning the product under complaint (not necessary in this case) was that the packing material was to be in a resaleable condition. I would have thought that returns would always show signs of having been handled and that you could ignore a damaged box.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Your order was placed at 14:15 on the 6th April and delivered to you less than twenty four hours later, at 11.37 on the 7th April. I am sorry that you seem to feel we could have done better with regard to our service. Your comments with regard to this fitting come as a surprise. We sell many, many of these and have yet to have any customer raise issues regarding installation, performance once installed or ingress of water. In fact the opposite is the case - it is commended as being excellent quality and priced very competitively. If you would care to provide more detailed information to technical@lighting-direct.co.uk we will happily pass it to our suppliers. Any customer not completely satisfied with their purchase from Lighting Direct only has to contact us by phone, email or web message and we will initiate our returns process. We do not ask in our communications that items under complaint are returned with the manufacturers packaging in a resaleable condition. We ask that it is not marked and any label is attached to an outside carton. The reason for this is to avoid any essential information, batch numbers, serial numbers etc being made illegible by tape. In the rare event there is a problem with a product we liaise very closely with our suppliers to obtain a resolution and need this information to do so. “The light is very good, just want I wanted but, I would have given this light 5* if it not for less than 6 inch tail / lead. Had a buggar of a job to fit had to chisel the house wire to give me more wire. S”

“Because light came with out shade as advertised so had to ring up then when shade came didn't fit light . They haven't sent the extension price for inside shade to make hole smaller . Bit of a mess up really two phone calls later finally everything arrived”

Thank you for your order and positive feedback for both our service and product. I will look into the delivery information online and have any errors changed. I am sorry that the lamp wasn't included with this product, how ever lamps are generally only included when they are packed with the fitting at our suppliers.
