“First electrician refused to install this light fitting due to lack of earth bounding. I requested the second electrician as I thought the first one might have been awkward. Second one commented the same and suggested to add an earth bounding but @ my own risk ! As not having an earth bounding is against UK regulations. Not sure how this can be sold in UK. I almost spend same amount I paid the fitting on electricians to rectify a fault on light at my own risk. So disappointing.”

“The lamps were late which I was told was due to bad weather. It’s a small company and I let this go, although would have liked much more unsolicited communication from them if this was the case. The Labrador lamp is attractive and of a good weight, the Ray desk lamp is of good quality. The problems were with the Paradox floor lamp where the height comes in screw together sections which you join yourself. The thread in the middle was badly bored and only a centimetre long so the lamp bent in the middle of the stem. This looks to be to save transport costs but is poor for the price. We fixed it by buying some steel tubing, dismantling it and building a sleeve round the joint. There was little point in returning it as this is a manufacturing/ cost issue so a replacement would be the same. It’s a small company and I’m happy with two out of three of my lamps but think that buying and quality control could be tightened up.”

“I ordered on a Monday expecting dispatch within a day or so. The didn’t bother dispatching the goods for a further 7!days and the delivery took a further 3. They thought this was acceptable. If I’d known they weren’t going to send the goods for ten days I’d have ordered from elsewhere. Beware”
