Sadly I ordered 2 UV Bulbs only one worked and General Lamps haven't been able to get a replacement sorted out. The communication was poor. with no information forth coming about the bulbs as I did return the ones that didn't work. Keeping customers well informed is key to good customer services

Hi Bridget, We have received that lamps back and tested them. We found that the filament were broken which is probably as a result of transit damage. Our service team credited you back and this should appear in your account in the next couple of days. They have also sent an email to confirm this Regards Service Team

Items never arrived and General Lamps have said 'it's out of their hands'. Unresponsive to emails & telephone messages. Unwilling to help me resolve the issue.

I ordered Duracell Ultra batteries for my smoke alarm but received standard Duracell batteries. I called Lamps-on-line and left a voice message describing the problem and leaving the reference number and my contact details. I also contact them through PayPal. Two weeks later still no reply.

I have not yet received my order, having been told it has been shipped. Where is it? There was no indication it would take this long, when I placed my order. This is not satisfactory.

Just blew all the lights in the house out didn't realise that these were not for use in the home but are recommended for traffic lights 🙄 my mistake

Hi Steve, The best solution for domestic lighting is LED as it offers an 85% saving compared to incandescent. Filament bulbs can be used for domestic use but have to be labelled as such to conform to EU regulations. Regards Technical

Great products. However, very disappointed with customer service after our order was sent to the wrong address. This was DHLs error but we weren't the customer to DHL, Genral lamps had the tracking reference and it was booked through their account. 3 days passed without a solution and we had to drive 90 minutes to collect the goods ourselves only to be refunded the postage. Litle effort on their part to help out the customer (us) spending a decent amount of money.

Yh my order never came, I got a refund for the light bulb I bought but not for the postage so this site was pretty useless really, in fact I got robbed for at least a few quid. Would not recommend :(

Hi A Mallinson, The bulbs where out of stock when you placed your order. You are made aware of this when you place your order both at the point of sale and the order confirmation, we do this to let customers know that we are waiting for stock to arrive

Unfortunately, the tube lamp I ordered has arrived and smashed to pieces. Have been unable to get any response to a replacement by e-mail from the company.

I was really disappointed in the bulbs that i ordered from you for my 90 year old father. All three bulbs blew within a few hours of being fitted.

I need to return this purchase but there's no return information on any of the emails. I've also left a voice message for someone to contact me but after 7 days nobody has yet responded. Please be aware returning items appears to be a difficult process!

Hi James, Have you contacted our service team. It would be very unusual for a tube not to start as all of the are illuminated at the factory before leaving it. Did you replace the starter? If not this may be the reason Regards Technical

I ordered 6 Par38 light bulbs on September 4th. I paid £12 to have them delivered on 5th. Ready for my birthday party on 7th. THEY NEVER ARRIVED. Pete was helpful but to no avail.

Faulty product, I tried to send back and was accused of sending an empty box. Disgusting way to treat a customer. No resolution, no further contact from them with NEVER order from them again!
