“I bought some fluorescent tubes off the website, there was nothing to indicate that there would be any delay in delivery. It took two weeks for them to arrive; they were inadequately packaged and had been smashed in transit. The company offered to replace them and asked for photographs so that they could claim against the courier - these were provided. The replacement tubes had not arrived after waiting a further 3 weeks; during this time I was not updated and it proved difficult to get an answer to my telephone calls. I eventually asked for a refund. This proved to be another disaster; I received less than half the money I had paid, the cost of the delivery was not forthcoming. This cannot be right bearing in mind the fact that Lamps2UDirect are claiming against the courier. At no point have I received any invoices or credit notes, everything was done through PayPal, the only paperwork was a delivery note with the goods. The lamps were ordered for business purposes so this does not seem very professional, I expected a VAT receipt. I have not enjoyed my experience with this company, I will not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone else.”

“I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to review something that I never received. I ordered a plug for a circular light and a circular tube, they should have both been in stock, but after waiting a week no delivery, they had the tube but not the plug, which would take 4 weeks. I said I would wait until they had the full order, but then a couple of weeks later, without any contact, my money was refunded. Then I'm asked to rate my purchase. I'm sure Lamps2udirect deserves better than my score. They just need to check before sending out review requests.”
